    Oh and Paramount/Fox should be absolutely over the moon with Titanic. If I remember correctly, it was $18m for the conversion, so it's made a nice little profit from DOM alone. Then add in even the little amount it'll get from China and they're still laughing all the way to the bank!

    But based on the reviews, it's not just going to be 'another Marvel movie'.. It's going to be a 4Quad movie, and that will only increase its chances of grossing huge huge amounts!

    I was just looking at presales for Avengers midnights, and wow it's doing great!I really didn't expect it to do anywhere near as good as it is.I think we can say midnights are finally catching on in Australia (obviously not to the extent of NA)

    ^Keeping in mind that Avengers opens on a Wednesday Public holiday, as opposed to IM2s normal thursday, so the OW will be blurred a bit.

    Most relevant, but two full years ago, and without 3D:Iron Man 2: 9.6m OW - 12.2m OWeek - 26m TotalIt seems completely possible that Avengers could match this.

    Pretty decent hold for THG.. I'm still hoping for a small drop to around $14.5m this weekend, to try and keep $400m alive!

    The important thing to remember about THG is that it wasnt the only film to have a terrible drop for Monday.

    I was thinking $35m/25m for UK/Australia, so I guess I was spot on for UK, but really low balled Australia!

    Well I hate to say that I was right, but I guess I was right in saying that itd do $60m between Australian and the UK...$30m finish is the worst case scenario in each market!
