  2. Does this have anymore markets to open in?I swear its been making tens-of-millions for months and months.
  3. These figures are just overwhelming. The potential to dominate the world, which China has, is just phenomenal.
  4. Why isnt Switzerland tracked?Yes, $300m WW would be fan-friggen-tastic.
  5. Completely irrelevant to this thread, but your sig is seriously THE BEST I have ever seen.
  6. We seem to be copying the US - The Vow and Safe House are simply dominating everywhere, even my work as well.
  7. Ok looking at it like that, $100m is clearly out of the question, but $80m seems doable.
  8. Well Im 100% certain that its going to make around $75-$80m - its currently at $45.4m after a 3.2% INCREASE to $4.8m for last WE.
  9. Good, sounds like Europe could do with an awareness boost.
  10. 1-2 per week at the cinema.I pay $2.50 a ticket so i can afford to.
  11. For me it wasnt watching movies - it was working at a cinema. Im not pin-pointing to this exact film as to why but around the time of TF2 I remember starting to use (somewhat abuse) my staff discounts, and still to this day I do.
  12. Ok PERFECT thread.I saw this movie on TV years and years ago... its about a boy who becomes orphaned some how and when he is put in foster homes, goes on to kill his new parents. One kill I remember occurs when the kid throw the womans hair dryer into the bath tub while she is in there and zaps her to death...I can never remember the name of this film... Id love to watch it again one day - hope someone can help!
  13. Tron: Legacy and Transformers 2. Tron tried to be all glow-in-the-dark and shizz, but it just failed. It was always too dark and they just needed to go out and play in the sun - felt so sorry for the characters - Shoulda gone to Specsavers And TF2, well Transformers:Revenge of the Orange much?
  14. Does Intouchables have an outside shot at $100m in Germany!?!?
  15. Quite an interesting read.LOL @ the lady who sued the cinema for showing trailers -_-Even more LOL @ the court which accepted it ---_____---
  16. And Ill do a recap of this next weekend, just to see if the upfront demand has worn off, or whether or not the general public are catching on to something.
  17. I've already done Event cinemas, now Im just running through Hoyts (they dont show seating plan on mobile platform, so had to wait til I was on a real computer): Again, these are strictly midnights: Belconnen: 1 XtremeScreen - 1/3 full Garden City: 1 XtremeScreen - 1/3 full So, ahh, that was underwhelming, but I will add that half of the locations didnt allow me to choose a seat for whatever reason, so Im unable to see how many tickets have been sold - but if the 20 or so that did allow me to choose are any indication, Hoyts wont be contributing very much to it.
  18. 29.3 BILLION down to 100 MILLION?WTF happened to the other 29.2 BILLION!??!
  19. If that release goes ahead that will be two MASSIVE milestones for Lionsgate:1. A huge achievement to secure China for a movie with its content.2. Basically guaranteed $20m to the WW gross!
