    CF should hold better than THG I think given that the school holidays are coming up. It might be a bit too late, but it'll help those late legs.

    Studios could actually do some good by reading these forums. After all, we kind of actually represent the general audience (well at least more than they think they know them).

    If only they knew how many more dollar signs they'd see if they put any thought into the use of 3D.

    So basically what I'm saying is, no, THG franchises content does not warrant 3D. At all.

    3D should only be used if a films content requires it.The likes of Pi and Gravity where you're immersed into those worlds are the types of films that warrant 3D, and it is justified in the fact that the GA audience are willing to pay the premium.

    Is the " The Avengers Effect" not proof enough that audience interest in the Marvel Universe has increased?Why would the film that sparked the increased interest decrease, especially OW?

    Excuse my use of the word "magical", but that's exactly what HP1 is. It has this amazing tone to it that makes it even more incredible every single time you watch it. I honestly feel sorry for you that you don't feel this when you watch it.

    That is sooo good to hear. Not being in AUS for a major release is quite strange. Being here I don't feel the hype because Im so preoccupied with other stuff.

    So as we speak, midnights would have just wrapped up in Australia. Unless its uber record breaking (which it wont be), we wont know any midnight numbers probably ever. As for OD, we should hopefully get some RTH goodness tomorrow or the day after

    Im sticking to my old prediction of $468m OS. That amount plus another $400m or so DOM will be another huuuuuuuge success for LG.
