    DM2 is doing great, but with only one full holiday weekend left i highly doubt it's going to go past 35m, let alone reach FN heights. It would need amazing legs to do that.

    It looks set to finish with at least $700m WW at a bare minimum. $750m seems pretty likely, with $800m being another possible milestone.Anything higher than that will go down to legs I guess.

    Australia: DM2 looking at AUD4.45-4.65m 3rd weekend - up 4-500k on last weekend (down ~10% from ow).Cum. should be around $22m after Sunday, with a final total in excess of AUD30m looking all but locked.

    Yeh that's what I meant - it wasn't a case of DM1 not having, and DM2 having - it was a level playing field in that respect. Given the fact that 3D was bigger during DM1 days, DM2 grossing this much more is even more impressive.

    I haven't seen anyone use the term 'fairly well' so poorly in all my life. They're going to make close to $700m between the two - that's "pretty damn effing good".

    It'd need great legs if it opened in that range. On second thought, I can't picture it opening any higher so maybe $10m isn't quite as achievable as first thought.

    Actuals were too far off to fudge.Although Paramount did their infamous PR, $2m made a hell of a difference when talking $200m, not $100m.

    To say this is going nuts in Australia is quite the understatement.It looks like its heading for AUD$30m minimum! MU, on the other hand, it's currently making less, dropping more, and currently $6m behind.
