WTF, I just read this on Facebook??? ”Star Wars The Last Jedi was a complete failure. The only reason it made so much at the box office is because it’s Star Wars your not going to not see it. Watch when DVD and Blu Ray sales go massively bust. The writer/director of this film should be beaten in the street like a stray cat in Afghanistan.”

Don’t know if I want to be that guy who puts their top 10 movies on Facebook though. Plus the plebs would think Star Wars would be a pleb take for No. 1, but amoung film buffs I feel like TLJ is more of a hot take (whereas Wonder Woman and Logan are the pleb takes, which I included anyways)

His favorite was Darkest Hour, so maybe it was actually Tele!!

The movie’s just kind of one running joke, except it somehow works the entire time (well at least the inside Jumanji bits). When they’re teenagers, the movie really drags, it feels very tedious (despite being a minor part of the movie). However Johnson, Hart, and Gillan are hilarious in their roles. They own the parts and it really does seem like it’s their respective teenager in their body. The video gane stuff is clever but not fully utilized. There was a lot of potential to do even more than they did. It’s overall an effective, yet empty, comedy. B

Just because you mentioned Soundtrack I want to point out Since we aren't having an Original Song category Soundtrack includes original or non-original songs. I know there were complaints about that last year. So to clarify, that means it covers something like Baby Driver (almost all non-original music) as well as Coco (all original music). Best Original Score is simply original compositions (that aren't songs!). Coco would be eligible for both Score and Soundtrack though!
