  1. You’re just jealous Steinfeld asked the kid with the racist mom on a date before you.
  2. I’m a fluffy animal, that obviously means you have to vote for me. And looks like I’ll rent Logan Lucky to be the last movie I see before I finish my list for the year.
  3. I have time for one more movie... Should I watch Logan Lucky, A Quiet Passion or It Comes at Night?
  4. Before you ban me, let me reveal my top 25 list of the ye
  5. Thanks for reminding me! Blankments just jumped up on my radar
  6. If that's true I guess I have to change my vote from CJohn to somebody else then, ah drat!
  7. It's buried somewhere in the weekend thread, @Noctis found it, maybe he can find it again?
  8. It's simple A vote for IronJimbo for posting about his fetish of making girls he bangs dress up like Naavi A vote for Slambros for the Samson club A vote for Theforceuser707 for complacent appraisals A vote for CJohn for.... Ooh yikes, didn't think this one through
  9. My picks for funniest users will be IronJimbo, Slambros, Theforceuser707 and CJohn. No convincing me otherwise.
  10. All the Money in the World is an impressive film, it definitely felt like there were 20 minutes of the movie that could have been cut though (none of them involving Christopher Plummer). Plummer is fantastic, absolutely loved all of his scenes, the actual rescue and kidnapping stuff was kind of a bore at times (but parts of it, it meaning the parts where Plummer wasn't on screen, worked nicely). It's overall a solid B/B+ (The score's pretty neat too)
  11. Fans will still complain that the series now lacks a clear cut canon and that’s unacceptable in their Star Wars!
  12. Yeah, I wouldn't diminish TLJ's total (whatever it ends up being) because some of us crazy fanboys overpredicted it like crazy.
  13. You're letting that stop you?? You gotta live free, or die hard (with a vengeance).
  14. For 2018 Locks Strong Possibility Potential Longshots There's 19 Locks and Strong Possibilities, that requires 7 of the potential and longshots to breakout (8 if it wants to break the record and not tie it). I reckon it'd require something like this to break through 200m Avengers: Infinity War - May 4 175m Avengers: Infinity War - May 4 Solo: A Star Wars Story - May 25th 150m Avengers: Infinity War - May 4 Solo: A Star Wars Story - May 25th Deadpool 2 - June 1 Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom - June 22 100m Black Panther - Feb 16 Avengers: Infinity War - May 4 Solo: A Star Wars Story - May 25th Deadpool 2 - June 1 The Incredibles 2 - June 15 Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom - June 22 Dr. Seuss' The Grinch - Nov 9 75m Black Panther - Feb 16 Avengers: Infinity War - May 4 Solo: A Star Wars Story - May 25th Deadpool 2 - June 1 The Incredibles 2 - June 15 Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom - June 22 Dr. Seuss' The Grinch - Nov 9 Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindewald - Nov 16 40m Fifty Shades Freed - Feb 9 Black Panther - Feb 16 Red Sparrow - March 2 A Wrinkle in Time - Mar 9 Ready Player One - Mar 30 A Quiet Place - April 6 Rampage - April 20 Avengers: Infinity War - May 4 Solo: A Star Wars Story - May 25th Deadpool 2 - June 1 Ocean's 8 - June 8 The Incredibles 2 - June 15 Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom - June 22 Ant-Man and the Wasp - July 6 The Nun - July 13 Skyscraper - July 13 Mission: Impossible 6 - July 27 The Predator - Aug 3 Venom - Oct 5 First Man - Oct 12 Halloween - Oct 19 Dark Phoenix - Nov 2 Dr. Seuss' The Grinch - Nov 9 Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindewald - Nov 16 Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2 - Nov 21 Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse - Dec 14 Aquaman - Dec 21 Mary Poppins Returns - Dec 28
  15. I got gas cards for Christmas too! Only the money wasn’t actually in gift card form, it was in a paycheck form...
  16. I personally liked Darkest Hour a lot, although it’s quite obviously made to try and win Oscars. Oldman definitely holds the film together, though.
  17. It also has easier January competition than those two.
  18. I still think TLJ can get past a 3x multi, its holds have been underwhelming but it’s really hard to say something that will finish around the #3 all-time domestic mark had a bad run at all.
  19. Especially if they’re able to bring back any old actors that they had. Although given how pissed SW fans got at TLJ, I can’t imagine the reaction to an MCU/SW crossover.
  20. I could see 15-20 years down the line, both franchises would definitely start experiencing diminishing returns at some point. In order to spice up growth Disney decides to set up a gimmick crossover movie (and end up settling the series with a reset, which eiliminates the crossover from the respective lore when they’re through)
  21. The Greatest Showman will develop some of The Greatest legs and Show up on the list, Man!
  22. I liked the Martian, didn't personally think it was that great of a film though
