  1. Yup, 25.5m. I'm hoping for a 65% drop and a $30m second weekend. It'll be tough, but is a $200m DOM finish out of the question?
  2. Crazy how many people here don't drink alcohol! I'm really surprised. Can't say that I'm one of you haha.
  3. Happy for 2015 and Fifty Shades! My optimistic goal for 50 Shades was $120 but ultimately I just wanted a total near $100 and for it to take the February record. New records every month! Gonna slow down again for a bit until Cinderella and Insurgent come in March and then we should have a new record with Furious 7 in April!
  4. Did Australia have previews? And if so, were they taken into consideration with the 55% increase?
  5. And that's with it snowing right now here in NYC! Should hopefully be increasing a decent amount everywhere.
  6. Lincoln Square is only showing it on two screens plus imax but definitely a good sign. AMC Empire has a butt load of showings so that's quite impressive to double.
  7. So a 150% increase means two and a half times Fridays number, right? Or do you mean it made 150% of Friday's number, meaning one and a half?
  8. I'm still pulling for a big V Day to get this over 92m in the 3 day weekend and be the #1 R rated OW. I will be pleased with that, certainly not a disappointment, even if less than I expected.
  9. But these numbers aren't bad... And if they are closer to Rth's $36.5m than they are quite good. Should be biggest OW for a rated R movie.
  10. I'm thinking $96m 3day OW for 50 Shades at the moment if the $36.5m Friday ends up happening.
  11. I had a strong feeling that I would wake up hearing 13m late nights. I'm remaining optimistic for a $100m until I hear some Friday estimates.
  12. At least with this movie being rated R and skewing older and with Valentines Day on Saturday, maybe it will space out its earrings over the weekend in a less front loaded way. But I was hoping for around $15m so I'm definitely disappointed.
