God I hope not. It should be Steve or Tony or even Thor.
No, it would be better if it was EVERYONE at the same time

Just drop it for sale on Itunes and other digital services then put it on Hulu after a few months.

The time has come once again for Marvel Studios to claim the box office.

Since it's probably a couple of hundred pages back, how was Solo tracking a week before its release here.

Some people here and elsewhere have argued that the Dragons TV show hurt anticipation for HTTYD2 by making it less of a theatrical "must-see." Puss will get a series on Netflix between now and when the sequel comes out, so could that also hurt Puss 2? (Or will being on Netflix mitigate that because it won't be AS readily accessible?)
The Penguins of Madagascar show didn't hurt Madagascar 3....although that was a spin off.
It certainly hurt the actually Penguins movie though

So how much are you expecting it to actually do opening weekend Porthos?

I think the only reason Guy got the job was for the CGI giant snake in King Arthur
I don't fully hate what I see so far, but I'm far more impressed by what I see in Lion King

They weren't lying when they said the original was the biggest animated event since Lion King in that one trailer.

What the fuck happened? That picture looks great; better proportions, better textures, and overall a more seamless combo of Will Smith and the CGI construct. Why would they purposely decide to use the crappy footage they did in a trailer?
I am so confused.
Also, I agree with Genie and Jasmine ending up being well received. However, I do not necessarily agree about Aladdin. I don't think he was ever a super exciting character to begin with, so blandness might actually work, but I definitely agree with you about Jafar. The actor's delivery was anything but ominous, menacing or awe-induncing. It was absolutely dull, just there...
Something I've heard over the years is that sometimes these trailers and sneak peeks are created months in advance and can sometimes use old CG. It's possible they used an early version of the genie's effects.

What if both Aladdin and Dumbo bomb, or at the very least, underperform?
Still don't think it'll matter, Lion King and Avengers will make up for it.
As odd as it is, even if Disney loses, it still ends up winning.

What will make or break this movie is honestly how good the musical numbers are portrayed, specifically A Whole New World. The trailer scores give a taste of the music in the film.

I want Aladdin to bomb to help end the live action remake trend but sadly this movie will make the bank for Disney. The only question is how much money they will earn from it. The nostalgia factor alone will make this movie a success.
If Aladdin bombs, they'd only very briefly have cold feet until Lion King roars and makes bank.

Hey, you know that pic they released of Will Smith in costume? That's probably him for 90% of the movie. And again, 90% of the population knew from the moment Will Smith was announced that he'd probably be a Blue CGI Will Smith. It's not the design that people are having problems with, the CGI maybe, but not the design. It's because Robin Williams left such a legacy on the character that no one else will match.
As for Jafar's one line, I'm going to throw a bone to the movie and say that maybe he's not trying to come off as threatening to Al at that point in the film.
Still gonna see it regardless. I saw similar talk about the Beast and Lumiere back when Beauty and the Beast was in marketing.

What people expected the genie to look like? A Blue Will Smith
What the genie actually looks like? A Blue Will Smith
Questionable CG aside, he's basically exactly how I expected he would turn out.

What the fuck is wrong with people. If the film is good, it will make plenty of money. Looks like tremendous fun.
If we are worried about troubled FX, I am far more concerned about LION KING.
They literally looked like they used actual footage of a lion for the final few seconds of the Lion King trailer. It's VFX are going to be fine
