  2. I guess Sony delayed tickets for Morbius, because it didn't come on either of Empire's rumored dates. And the only placeholder times are at Cinemark locations. I guess we'll get this up next week?
  3. To be fair, he thinks every movie will be a hit But I do agree with him there. Like I've said before, people turn into robots when they see the word "Marvel".
  4. Moderation Guys we're not doing this Endgame vs. Avatar stuff anymore. It's really, really, really not needed here. At all.
  5. @Plain Old Tele hope you're happy your show is now considered important enough to get a 3-hour long video essay. Truly the mark of quality television storytelling
  6. The Lost City Greater Philadelphia Area Seat Report T-17 and Counting Sellouts Showings Seats Sold Total Seats Perct Sold TOTALS 0 55 103 12340 0.83% Total Seats Sold Today: 3 Comp 0.414x of Scream T-17 (1.45M) 0.536x of Uncharted T-17 (1.98M)
  7. 750M is still more than thrice its production budget, a roaring success in my book. There's also all that ancillary as the icing on the cake.
  8. See I'm okay with this because now I can finish up tracking and still get to an appropriate showtime when I'm off work.
  9. This will probably get us closer to the Shrek 5 we all need and deserve, so I feel obligated to stan.
  10. The Lost City Greater Philadelphia Area Seat Report T-18 and Counting Sellouts Showings Seats Sold Total Seats Perct Sold TOTALS 0 55 100 12340 0.81% Total Seats Sold Today: 15 Comp 0.411x of Scream T-18 (1.44M) 0.602x of Uncharted T-18 (2.23M) This was when Uncharted officially had its tickets on sale, so this is why there's such a huge drop from the previous day and should not be indicative of anything wrong with Lost City's current run. Decided to also throw Scream into here since I think there's enough of a demographic crossover and horror films are largely backloaded in their ticket runs.
  11. ...did we? I'm not saying anybody wasn't down on Cruella, but it felt like people were commending its performance considering it didn't have a lot going for it compared to Quiet Place 2 or Black Widow or whatever and that it was a positive sign for moviegoing going forward.
  12. I mean I'm sure WB has insider info on what Disney/Avatar is doing. And at this rate, every public press material is making it certain that Avatar 2, indeed, is coming out this year. Warner has no excuse. I'm still confused why not one studio has jumped onto the Labor Day weekend yet. Shang-Chi proved an exciting film can work at that time, so why not do it already? It's dumb. It's weird.
