  1. Venom's now a lock, so now there's only one more movie left. Unless Halloween explodes on its OW (with presales being strong, that seems like a possibility), it's basically a race between Grinch, Fantastic Beasts, and Ralph 2. Pretty interesting conclusion in all honesty. PS: Han, if you so much as dare mention Bohemian Rhapsody, I'm flying to Florida and slapping you silly.
  2. They just moved Escape Room to the January 4 weekend, but yeah. It's still confusing to me no studio wants to take advantage of the barren January line-up and keep all of their stuff in December. Move some combination of Mortal Engines, Holmes & Watson, and Second Act there, and both months benefit.
  3. Still cracks me up how these morons are whining about Ackbar. Y'all only like him because he's a meme.
  4. Damn white male critics. Them hating on Life Itself made a good Hispanic man reevaluate his career smh

  6. You'd be surprised at how many grown-ass adults there are on the Internet who do nothing but whine about children's cartoons. The She-Ra backlash is the funniest thing ever though. Ya got these grown-ass men going on about how she doesn't look sexy anymore and how she's a "boyish lesbian" now, and that's ruining He-Man because Ess-Jay-Dubyas are taking over the franchise with their gay agenda. These goobers really don't remember that the OG He-Man was so gay there was a character named Fisto in the cast?
  7. The flag's in the movie. In fact, there are probably about 4 or 5 different shots of the flag. Moron trolls are only upset because it doesn't painstakingly show the flag being planted on the moon because Chazelle decided a character arc was more important than a flag.
  8. Yeah, it's pretty cool. Don't know if it's anything revolutionary or different from other space movies, but it's certainly not by the numbers. From a visual standpoint alone it's pretty stellar and makes it worth seeing in the theater, and Chazelle really delivers with both Armstrong as a character, as well as his journey.
  9. https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/box-office-first-man-launches-11m-previews-1151832 First Man: 6/17 Venom: 30 A Star is Born: 27-28 Goosebumps: 16 El Royale: 8
  10. This could be a me thing, but I honestly feel like the marketing killed First Man. The trailers for this were super generic and the only reason I was remotely interested was Chazelle. Seems like the same case for the GA. Of course, an opening in the 20s or even high teens would still be okay for this
