  2. To me he just exists. Neither adds nor detracts from the experience. Makes the weird hatred for him all the funnier to me.
  3. It’s really damn good. It doesn’t quite hit GOAT status like La La Land, but it’s still well worth watching. Ryan Gosling is fantastic and Claire Foy’s very good, but Chazelle is the star here. The flights really accentuate the isolation Neil goes through, and when bad stuff goes down, it’s brutal and intense. There’s even some really good POV shots mixed in as well. And like with all Chazelle joints, the ending is the highlight. It’s beautiful in terms of scope, effects, and emotion. Definitely see this in the theater too.
  4. Avengers Anyway this move was for the best. With Dumbo two weeks before and Shazam one week before, this would have gotten table scraps.
  5. I remember watching one of last season's episodes, and being really concerned over Julie Kavner. It sounded like her voicing Marge literally hurts her voice, and I'm nervous she's going to lose her voice box in a couple years.
  6. So I know why House w/ Clock had a big drop and all, but it's honestly a shame to see it drop that much. It's some of the most fun I've had seeing a movie all year, and I wish more people would go out and see it.
  7. You can't just say that and not go into more detail.
  8. Nah. Storks was infinitely funnier. Course one of my favorite comedians is Andy Samberg, so I'm naturally biased. Disagree with DAJK on the music though. I really enjoyed Zendaya's song, although that's probably because Zendaya's voice is beautiful and the visuals for the song are really strong.
  9. He said a while back the film was good. Also, it already has reviews out, so...
  10. When you said Pacific Rim 2.0, I misconstrued it as Uprising. Still feels like a stretch for a Christmas movie.
  11. Last year my family was supposed to see Lady Bird for Christmas, and even though everyone was excited for it and thought it looked good, because my asshole brother thought it looked stupid, my Mom instead made us see All the Money in the World instead. It still irks me to this day.
  12. A Christmas movie having legs worse than 2.1x? Yeah, I don't think you know how the box office works.
