  2. @CoolioD1 It got Annihilation'd. Only this time something from Fox will actually get nominated this year.
  3. A while back someone compared Hotel Transylvania's track record to Ice Age (domestically of course, not worldwide), which seems like a fair comparison. Using that comparison, a fourth one would probably do a solid 35/125. Hopefully Sony doesn't push out a fifth one though.
  4. Yeah, what he said. Also of note, there's a bit of dialouge where Jean Smart as Oscar Isaac's mom tells Olivia Wilde that she's happy her parents are dead, because she always wanted her son to marry someone with dead parents so she can keep the grandkids. Also, college-aged Rodrigo's girlfriend tells him that she's pregnant, only until after an insufferable 5-minute monolouge tells him that it was an April Fool's joke, because...comedy?
  5. What's weird is that there was already a condensed Shazam trailer. When I saw The Meg, I got the Comic-Con trailer minus the part where Levi does the Backpack Kid dance, and maybe one or two other things. Of course, if this is planning to play in front of Smallfoot or something, this is probably editing out the guy saying "the hell?"
  6. Okay, so I was looking at BOM's schedule a minute ago, and I saw that "Untitled Kingsman Movie" has been dated for November 8, 2019 https://www.boxofficemojo.com/schedule/?view=bydate&release=all&date=2019-11-01&showweeks=5&p=.htm Pretty bold of them to put this out on the same day as future megahit Sonic the Hedgehog.
  7. Doesn't every studio hire indie filmmakers and put them in front of many of their big tentpoles nowadays? Guess WB and Disney are just copying off of Universal and Colin Trevorrow.
  8. https://pro.boxoffice.com/long-range-tracking-fantastic-beasts-crimes-grindelwald-instant-family-widows/ Fantastic Beasts: 75/222 Instant Family: 18 OW, no total for some reason Widows: 20/78 Hell Fest: 6/14 (down 25%) Goosebumps: 17/54 (up 20%)

  10. Here's something crazy: maybe the existence of test screenings are to improve upon the project, see what does and doesn't work, and pick the best cut that audiences would be satisfied with. So maybe...let's not take test screenings so seriously for once?
  11. At last. Today is finally the day that this is available to rent.
