TBF, I've seen a lot of Fandom Menace/Quartering-style chuds hating on the show and talking about how "woke" it is and that it's the worst thing Marvel's ever created. But I also follow a lot of people who love dunking on those dudes and they do a hit job on anything that has somebody with XX chromosomes as the star, so...yeah.

Okay I know what you're saying and you're right, but the idea of "fanboys" rushing out to catch the latest PAW Patrol like they do for Star Wars or whatever just makes me laugh. -
Anime's one of those things where I tell myself to get into it...but I just can't bring myself to. There's always like ten flashy new ones airing all at the same time and I have zero idea which ones I should watch or care about. And like the biggest ones have gone on for wayyyyyy too long that it feels like a chore and a half to watch them. Why on Earth are there over 1,000 episodes of One Piece? It's not even like there's an original One Piece and a reboot series or something. No, it's all one show. Whose idea was this?

I'm not surprised. E.T. was only in IMAX last week, and is now playing in standard shows, so all the PLF boost it had was vanished. And honestly, I had no idea E.T. would still play this weekend and only found out about it...like last Wednesday. There was no advertising I could find saying it would last more than that one week. I'm glad I was able to catch it though this weekend and see the best Spielberg (yes it's the best, don't tell me otherwise) on the big screen. I was on vacation last week and was afraid I would miss it.

Thought I unlocked the thread already. Sorry.

UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH The two closest theaters near me are Regals. Only just a 10 minute drive. Now I'll likely have to go 45 minutes to the nearest AMC, which has way less screens and options. What a waste.
