  1. Sadly DW hasn't done this as much anymore, and the only other arguable comps are BP and IW which are hundreds of posts away, and I can't be bothered to do it. But it seems good for a lot of movies. Spider-Verse has only been on sale for three days (maybe two if DW only has Wednesday and Thursday results), so it getting close to 100K in a short timespan is very, very good. Also good that Mary Poppins is reaching 200K in only 5 days. Aquaman's been out longer at 11 days, but that's also really strong as well. Bumblebee seems pretty weak, as does Mortal Engines.
  2. A lot of tweets seem like "good not great" material. It'll still be positive, but reviews will probably be more 7/10 than 9/10.
  3. I think Lin's only being campaigned for Lead so that he can get a Globe nom for Best Actor - Comedy or Musical. Maybe Disney is more interested in Picture and Blunt when it comes to the Oscars than Lin. Although maybe Lin plays a big part in the movie or has a lot of screentime.
  4. Glad to know you're supporting Paper Boi. Atlanta's a great show, and I like seeing BTH get more movie work
  5. Ummm....what critics? No seriously, what critics are saying this? I checked every review from the Top Critics section of RT, and not one of them talks about Grant's character being a "cat killer". The actual cat is typically only mentioned once, typically with the statement "Melissa McCarthy has a sick cat who is the only character McCatrhy seems to care about." Granted these are only Top Critics, so it's a small sample size, but I ain't gonna look at every single review, and I'm pretty sure, since they are major and important, that they would be more likely to have "cat killer" or whatever in their review. So where's your proof? Where are these critics who keep calling Grant's character a "cat killer". Where are these critics falsely claiming Grant's character kills cats? I need reciepts.
  6. DW used to be in charge of a movie theater and had access to presales info exclusive to this forum. He doesn't work there anymore, but he's still close to some people in the industry, and he'll occasionally get info about presales for certain movies (BP, IW). Think he's hinting he know some stuff about the Christmas releases.
  7. Surprised there’s already a film announcement. Stage-to-film productions usually get made years after the first production ends.
  8. If it has Jack Reacher legs: 138.3M If it has National Treasure 2 legs: 134.4M Both totals are above The Last Knight
  9. Wasn't super into the film, but Hawke was definitely phenomenal there. Probably one of my favorite performances of the year.
