  2. This is gonna wreck me when it comes out. Give Carell and Bae their Oscars already.
  3. Including re-releases, Lion King reaches $422M
  4. Looks like Numbers' reflexes were...lightning fast (geddit? electroshock therapy)
  5. Just steals from this lmao http://akvalley.pythonanywhere.com/static/Fandango_track.txt
  6. Apparently this whole "David Lynch supports Trump" thing was originally clickbait and out of context from an Indiewire interview.
  7. Oh yeah, I've got a big-ass backlog of 2018 shiz I need to see...maybe I'll get to it?
  8. Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom 7:15 PM, 60% full Trailers Smallfoot "Stars of Hope" Ad Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (laughs) Creed II (pretty significant chatter) Ant-Man and the Wasp (chuckles) Mission: Impossible - Fallout (mild whispers) Bohemian Rhapsody (no reactions) Mortal Engines (no reactions) The Grinch (a kid laughed at one part, an adult laughed at the ending gag, but very little reaction) At the beginning of the previews, I was sitting closer to the back, but I was in front of and to the left of two different groups of teenagers who would not shut up once during the previews. I moved down to a shitty seat freezing my ass off from the A/C, because teenagers ruin everything. There were scattered laughs here and there, but no major gag that brought the house down. Two or three clapped when the credits rolled, but it seemed pretty muted.
  9. Well, I just got it at FK, and after the trailer, mild whispers were uttered...it's the only time I've seen this get a reaction (Solo and Ocean's didn't get them, although my Mom did wince at Cruise Missle getting hurt when we saw the latter), but at least it got a better reaction than Mortal Engines.

Will be interesting to see whether Angry Birds or Abominable will blink and move somewhere else on the schedule.

Odd to pit it up against Star Wars, especially if this becomes a Disney project, but it's arguably better than being surrounded by Wondy and Bond.
  13. The first trailer back in December mentioned Streep once or twice in the past tense. Pretty sure there will be at least one flashback sequence with her, since she is still credited in the movie.
  14. I'm still confused, that in a world where every 90s show is getting some form of revival, how come this hasn't been picked up yet?
