Good job studios!
  2. All that slo-mo's making me sick to my stomach. Shame, because this straight-to-Redbox lookin-ass movie could have been stupid fun.
  3. MT.com Update: 1. Avengers: Infinity War: 84.1% 2. I Feel Pretty: 2% 3. Deadpool 2: 1.9% 4. A Quiet Place: 1.7% 5. Overboard: 1.2%
  4. Admittedly, I want this film to hit $4M if only so its PTA can match its theater count a la Dragonball Evolution.
  5. I know there has been a lot of outrage and complaints over Tully getting such a low TC, but quite honestly, I feel Lionsgate is missing a decent opportunity with having Overboard so low. I know that it's a few hundred more than Latin Lover, but I would think that with the inclusion of Anna Faris and being a remake, it would be a film that would appeal to more than just Hispanic audiences and have done solid business in around 2,000-2,250 theaters as a decent counterprogrammer.
  6. That multiplier puts it below Last Jedi...I can dig it.
  7. Hmmm, would my Mom want a raunchy comedy, a Hallmark movie, a Greek-set musical, or a psychological thriller that doubleas as an allegory upon the abuse humans have upon mother nature? Well, she is a huge J-Law fan.
  8. I assume the joke the movie's trying to make is giving this super intimidating character a dry, normal-sounding voice. At least that's what I assume, because why else would you get Will Arnett as your villain?
  9. I get the joke, but Will Arnett's voice is really distracting in this. Outside of that...well, I'm sure the kids will like it.
  10. For new openers, my theater is only getting Bad Samaritan and Overboard. I admittedly kinda wanted to see my theater not pick anything up and get rid of ST2/RPO/Traffik (the latter is still playing for some reason), but I guess not. Ah well.
  11. A shame Disney slotted a Disneynature doc, because there was a decent shot of every Disney movie crossing the $100M mark.
