What my Movie Tavern looks like for Star Wars after only a couple of hours. $25 Fan Event 6 PM: 7 PM: 7:30 3D: 10:35 11:05 And this is just for Thursday. Daisy Ridley truly is the Box Office Queen! -
To me, the likeliest scenario is probably around $85M, essentially Spongebob 1 numbers. It's a huge hit with the kids, but it won't have a huge appeal to people who aren't fans of the series, and I don't think it's as much of a cultural phenomenon like Rugrats was to cross the century mark (Of course, I'm way out of the series' demographic, so what do I know?)

Says here we have three movies left...unless you think Thor, Justice League, or Star Wars won't make it, I think we'll be fine.

2017 100M Films - 33 down, 3 to go! (Pitchslapped!)

Well, with Blade Runner's disappointing OW, and the unlikeliness of it garnering sexy Gosling legs, this is pretty much dead. Thor, Justice League, Coco, Star Wars, Jumanji and Pitch Perfect are locks, and stuff like Orient Express, The Post, Daddy's Home and Ferdinand have a decent shot (even Happy Death Day or The Greatest Showman could be dark horses), but I don't see a scenario where the record is broken. Better luck next year I guess.
