Anyways, this could be me expecting too much, and I know this is still going to turn out well for MGM, but I feel kind of underwhelmed by Dog's performance just matching Nile, since Dog arguably has more going for it. Just kind of shows there's still a tough ceiling for these kinds of dramas/female-skewing pieces compared to other films IMO

Deadline also mentions something called The Cursed is set for a 1.7M weekend. I don't think I've heard of it.

Just letting you all know Torontofan is just Lordmandeep doing his silly little scthick again. Please pay him no mind, because we don't need a redux of his behavior ever again.

Bro the PS1 Rampage game was badass.
And I love how in the movie they added a Rampage arcade machine in the Rampage movie a la the Double Dragon movie. Those kinds of weird details always crack me up.
I feel Uncharted's a film that is totally coasting off Spider-Mania and Holland being the biggest thing ever at the moment. If this came out in 2023 or even in the summer or fall, it would have been a total dud.
I mean Death on the Nile had an extra day of IMAX previews and it still did 11.7x its previews even with Super Bowl Sunday. With better reception and more favorable weekend conditions, this is still on track to at least be on par with House of Gucci's 3-Day, which would be really good for a movie that probably didn't cost much to make.
Even then, we're still probably going to reach 15M+, which is absurdly good for a movie of this type. At the very least, it'll match Death on the Nile at like half the cost. Channing's still got it!
Woof at that Nile drop. Even the holiday won't save this.
