  1. Homeboy sacrificed himself for the universe and Papa Feige's still pulling him back lmao
  2. https://deadline.com/2019/09/downton-abbey-movie-uk-opening-international-box-office-1202734603/
  3. Are there really that many people who do nothing but post about Cardi/Lizzo on Twitter and Instagram that it would impact Cinemascore that much?
  4. Not impossible. But WOM doesn't look so hot, so it'll probably settle in the low 30s. Still fantastic either way, and pretty much locks it beating Bad Moms Xmas and being STX's third-biggest movie
  5. Deadline updated again @ those Goldfinch numbers Also very exciting for Hustlers, although WOM might impact the weekend a tad
  6. I only have H&S up to day 31. H&S' presales started while Pulse was shut down, and I was in a waiting period, hoping Pulse would come back (still bitter!)
  7. I guess I should specify I'm talking about range. Mal2's at 30-50M according to BOP, so it's fair game to me
  8. Charlie's Angels Greater Philadelphia Area Seat Report T-62 and Counting Sellouts Showings Seats Sold Total Seats Perct Sold TOTALS 0 20 6 6,584 0.09% LOL. As it turns out, starting ticket sales for a no1curr movie doesn't give any exciting results. Of course, this isn't something to take very seriously, but might as well post it for the time being. Should also mention that I might drop this movie. My own threshold is if tracking or BOP is suggesting a 40M OW is possible. At this point. Unfortunately, I won't know about that stuff until next week. I personally don't see it opening to 40M+, but might as well track it for the fun. But if BOP's range doesn't have 40M as a possibility, I'll just scrap it. I've got enough films to look at as is.
  9. Maleficent: Mistress of Evil Greater Philadelphia Area Seat Report T-34 and Counting Sellouts Showings Seats Sold Total Seats Perct Sold TOTALS 0 21 46 5,753 0.80% I don't have any comps for the time being (the only option I have is It 2, which...lol. The number's 1.6M btw). However, I do think this is a very mediocre start. Only a few theaters have actually sold anything, and three of them barely got into the double digits. Of course, it's more than a month away, so this is not a death sentence. But this should give some people pause.
  10. Don't really think it's fair to say that it's low. It's an original stripper drama that doesn't really focus on the eye candy like Magic Mike did, has no real major draws in the cast (quiet Mr. Bonaparte!), and is from a studio that's on the verge of bankruptcy. I hope it pulls through and hits 30M in the end too, but I don't think it's fair to be down on this movie's OW, especially since it's almost locked to be STX's third-biggest movie. Well....

  12. To be fair, it's the same amount of weeks as Infinity War, and only 5 less than Black Panther. Heck, Force Awakens only lasted 24 weeks.
  13. Bit surprised at that Doctor Sleep number. Didn't like the new trailer, but I thought the Shining/King connections would help it stand out. Everything else on that weekend sounds about right.
