  1. I don't always agree with Thanos Legion. But he's generally been fair on pretty much every movie's box office, and is the farthest thing from a "hater", unless the idea of somebody committing the horrible act of *checks notes* liking Marvel movies makes you some evil Di$ney shill who wants all WB movies to die like some of you guys are acting. If anything, the reactions to his reservations says a lot more about other people being whiny fanboys than him.
  2. I said this before, but my concern with Little Women isn't it being adapted so many times and more on Sony trying to juggle so many movies. They haven't had a movie get a BP nom since 2013, and Sony has two other contenders, both of which have strong reviews and will be in the conversation longer,.One has great box office, while the other one is looking to do the same. Just feels like one of these movies will get the short stick, and this seems like the one.
  3. Hustlers Greater Philadelphia Area Seat Report T-3 and Counting Sellouts Showings Seats Sold Total Seats Perct Sold TOTALS 0 26 272 3,525 7.72% Comp 0.418x of Once Upon 3 days before release (2.42M) 2.211x of Scary Stories 3 days before release (5.15M) 5.44x of Good Boys 3 days before release (11.42M) This is crazy good, especially for a Monday. Even using some more lolcomps like Lion King or It 2, it still is something like 1.5M+. Those comps will probably go down a bit (the Good Boys one especially. Its last day was just bonkers), but it's very comfortably ahead that we should see a great preview number either way.
  4. @WrathOfHan just bought his Disney+ subscription
  5. I didn't know where to put this (spoilers n all), but this was brilliant lmao
  6. Haven't paid close attention to the Supporting Actress race, but does J-Lo have a shot for Hustlers? Seems like all the reviews are pointing to her as the standout, and the movie looks like it will be a hit.
  7. There actually is one from STX on Halloween weekend called Countdown. I can't find the trailer online, but I got the preview at It 2, and...yikes lmao. But more than likely, it's probably a case where studios saw the logjam of Joker/Zombieland/Maleficent and decided it was best to sit this one out.
  8. to be fair, we know that there will be voter manipulation going on for that countdown. You know how crazy those Night at the Museum stans are.
  9. It 2 was about the same as the first movie (fine/10), but did anyone get the trailer for that horror movie about a phone app that predicts people's deaths? It's gotta be up there as one of the goofiest premises I've seen in a long time.
  10. I'm with you on most of that stuff, especially the midbudget adult movie section. But for Irishman, I sincerely doubt people would be eager to spend 3.5 hours seeing a crime drama in theaters back in 2007.
