    I seriously doubt that. The first HG made 67M after 19.7M on midnight (only midnight, not early sneaks). I see it coming closer to 60M.

    I'm glad it's doing well there. Here there's no sellout. Interstellar had a quite a few sellouts today, in it's third weekend. Island of Lemurs: Madagascar (the WB documentary) sold out a 400 seats IMAX show for the next Wednesday in minutes, yet MJ is not able to sell out a 100 seats show. It's just disheartening.

    A bit of both I believe. For franchises like this the BO won't ever disappoint. They'll make their producers tons of money. But most of MJ1's OW predictions weren't exaggerated. People were expecting it to open in the same general area (150M) and have worse legs and possibly end up in the 380-400M zone. It's too soon to tell, but the fact there is a chance, even if a small one, that this could miss 130M makes the OW disappointing a bit. At least in my eyes.

    It's quite astonishing that TF4 made more OS than any other movie this year WW. MJ1 might fall under it too.

    I agree and don't agree. You're right about the weaker marketing but the movie itself looked far less appealing than CF.

    DH1 did 125M from a 24M midnight. Obviously, HG was never that frontloaded, but an opening in the 130 area should be the marks to reach.

    Because I think KFP3 has an immense potential to increase OS, especially in Asia, and SW7 will not be as huge OS as some people predict.
