  2. Guardians is probably the worst Marvel movie to date. And Strangelove doesn't even look watchable so...
  3. I wasn't referring to that, but to this type of choral/flute non-epic-battle combo.
  4. Listening to this right now: If one of the LOTR movies is not in Top 3 at least I will be pissed. Everything about them is so insanely perfect. Soundtrack wise they have so many memorable themes. How come no other movie is using this style?
  5. YES YES YES! FUCK YEAH! Lennox is my favorite character!
  6. OMG. I remember seeing this in english class. The most boring, pretentious piece of shit I've ever watched.
  7. 2016 is a great year for the Romanian box office till now. We already have 6 movies that made more than $1m. - Deadpool (1.63 m) FOX - The Jungle Book (1.61 m) DIS - Batman v Superman (1.59 m) WB - Dirty Grandpa (1.41 m) LGF - Zootopia (1.27 m) DIS - Gods of Egypt (1.12 m) LGF Captain America: Civil War will join the list this week. In 2015 we had 10 movies grossing over $1m, while 2014 holds the record with 13. In 2016, a total of 23 titles have the potential to reach the target. Of those, locked to do it for the rest of the year are Rogue One, Ice Age, Alice 2, Warcraft, Independence Day, Fantastic Beasts. The other titles that have a chance of doing it are Inferno, X-Men: Apocalypse, Now You See Me 2, The Legend of Tarzan, Jason Bourne, Suicide Squad, The Secret Life of Pets, Ben Hur, Doctor Strange, Moana.
  8. Superb 43.270 admissions opening for Angry Birds. We are still waiting for the figure in USD. Mother's Day debuted with a weak 17.282 and $82k. Captain America: Civil War maintained it's top position (just in USD; in admissions, Angry Birds beat it), but it's 54% drop is the notably bigger than that of any post-Avengers Marvel movie, with the exception of Iron Man 3, which dropped over 70%, but only because it's second weekend was Easter, and most theaters were closed (it rebounded on it's third outing, increasing more than 40%). That being said, through it's sophomore frame it is still leading all MCU films and still has a chance of becoming the highest grossing one (the title being currently held by Thor: The Dark World with $1.47m) if it survives X-Men this week (and Alice the next one). And speaking of X-Men, the presales for that look solid enough. The biggest debut for the franchise should/will happen (X-Men: Days of Future Past is the highest opener for the franchise, with 36.550 adm - that is if you exclude Deadpool). I'm estimating an opening around 50.000 adm
  9. Tele, I don't know how to put this... you are wrong. That was the best trailer I've seen this year.
  10. I think it is ironic how some of you older folks dislike Potter, yet are in love with SW, which is even more YA than HP. I just dob't get it. But I suspect in 30 years, when a new stuff comes out, things will be the same with my generation.
  11. Wow, that is quite a horrible drop after the already horrible drop from last week. Funny how the projections for this went from beating AoU to under 800m. At this point, with X-Men entering the marketing in 2-3 days and then Alice, I think under 800m is happening for sure.
  12. 21. And HA1 and 2 are among my favorites since I was 9 or 10. The first 3 movies in the series are part of the Christmas tradition in Romania They aired every year for the past 10 years on the biggest TV channel here and every single time they record one of the if not the biggest ratings of the year for the channel.
  13. Jesus fuck, CW ahead of DH2?? Lord! Wolf of Wall Street is quite perfect. Best Scorsese movie. As for the whole 2000 thing, my #2 was Fight Club (1999) and #10 was Home Alone (1990) so... Even though they were the only pre-2000 movies on my list. Other great movies are Titanic, Home Alone 2, Independence Day, The Addams Family 1 and 2. And that's about it I think.
  14. With one of two exceptions, all the important movies came after 2000, you know, when movies ceased looking cheap.
  15. The fact that HP8 is so low makes me believe this list will be full of prehistoric 1950-1990 movies. Well, it already is... I think I've seen 2 movies on the list till now. Quite sad.
  16. Finally someone who agrees with me that ROTK is the best LOTR movie! Thank you @Telemachos!
  17. Fight Club and the LOTR trilogy all in Top 15. That is a good list!
  18. I'll give this an A- It's no BvS or Deadpool, but I really enjoyed the darker tone. I wish Tony would've got some revenge in the end (even though I like Bucky's character).
  19. Wow! Never played AC but this looks bonkers! And I also like the music choice lol. This just jumped to #3 on my most anticipated list for the year, after FB and Inferno.
  20. Yes, but Farell > than Arnold. Plus, the VFX. Plus Kate Beckinsdale
