  1. Except for France and Belgium (where the situation is what it is) it's OD is actually ahead of TDKR and AoU, and a Wednesday nonetheless (both TDKR and AoU opened on Friday in most territories). The WW OW will likely fall in the 400-450m range.
  2. I'm glad I wasn't there because I LOVE every single one of those franchises.
  3. My gym mates who've seen it and who are not movie buffs at all told me it was 'dope' (the best translation I could find for 'misto').
  4. Is anyone really talking about OW record? Not even excel did that. But 200m is still in the cards IMO.
  5. I'm seriously starting to think 100.000 adm might not be that impossible after all. BvS is receiving tons of showtimes (even over 20/day on some theaters) and sellouts are everywhere. Plus, the weather is horrible so that will only help business. And if it misses 100.000 adm it won't be by much.
  6. The screen may not be as big as the one here, but it's still an IMAX. 4th row is awful. On other news, my show on friday 8PM is now sold out. I get to see BvS with a lot of people. I wanna see reactions. Also, on Cinemagia the lowest grade I've seen till now for a review was a 7/10. The rest are either raves or 8 or 9/10.
  7. What if all the volcanoes on the planet erupt at the same time? What if 2012 comes true? What if Michael Bay decides to do a SW movie? What if BKB becomes a DC stan? WHAT IF?!!!
  8. 6:05 pst? amt? dst? fuckity fuck? no, seriously know, you americans have way too many weird ways to count time.
  9. Well, not that cheap considering 15-16 years ago the average ticket price was 0.1$ or even less. But yeah, compared to the insane prices in US, UK and Australia, it is cheap. Usually a 2D ticket is around $5.
  10. A regular 3D ticket is $8.25 here (BvS, like any 3D movie, will be released exclusively in this format). And an IMAX 3D ticket is $9.5. VIP tickets are insanely expensive for this movie though (around $21). Usually VIP tickets are around $15.
  11. Well, the 1.8m OD in Spain is fantastic. TDKR made 4.3m for the whole weekend. AoU made 4.8m for the weekend. It will destroy both of those. In Italy, AoU made 7.7m on OW. TDKR made 5m. But all those movies opened on Friday so it's not really comparable. I think I read somewhere in the international threads that they predict 10m for the 5 day weekend. In Norway, AoU made 1m on OW, while TDKR made 1.47m. BvS made 500k on OD. And in Belgium it did below AoU, but considering the situation that is more than understandable. As for France, that shares more or less the same situation as Belgium: BVS OD - 196,016MOS = 215 242 / 1 055 000 / 2 303 000 Deadpool = 285 711 / 1 576 000 The dark knight rises = 423 970 / 1 836 000 / 4 414 000 Avengers 2 = 330 303 / 1 926 000 / 4 326 000
  12. Where is Tele when you need him? This is RT watch all over again. How many hours till we receive preview numbers? I need some people here to just shut up. Putting this and Deadpool in the same sentence when it comes to box office is pure loony talk.
  13. Aren't you tired of constantly repeating the same thing over and over again. We get it: you have a problem with the movie. Still, that's no excuse for that kind of shitty prediction. 150M. LOOOOL
  14. That would be awful. Considering it was outselling everything except for SW and DH2 and the fact that Marvel usually has low peviews compared to DC, I don't see how it misses 30m. How much did AoU make?
  15. I don't know But in Olive's last report they were quite a bit higher. Has anyone posted a new report?
  16. I think it still will. It is behind SW when it comes to previews because SW opened on a Saturday so the previews were for Friday night instead of Thursday. The OD presales are way higher than SW's.
  17. Considering the last one made over 170m OS and this one will likely cost 5-6m to make, it could make 30m DOM and it would still be insanely profitable.
  18. Why are you surprised? That movie turned more profit than most blockbuster movies. 257m on a 6m budget.
  19. I noticed something here, don't know if it's the same in other countries, but the presales seem to be spread very evenly across the whole weekend. As an example, this is the 8PM showtime from a theatre in Timisoara (probably the biggest city when it comes to BO after the capital) on Thursday (today), Fri, Sat, Sun. Thursday Friday Saturday Sunday Usually big movies have heavy presales for Friday, but checking multiple theaters across the country I see that Saturday has way more sales.
  20. Guys, how is the last minute marketing going in the US? Do you see a lot of TV spots and advertisement?
  21. @Telemachos can you play devil's advocate when Fantastic Beasts is released in case things go to shit? I'm starting to think you'd make a better lawyer than me
