  1. Deadpool is X-men? Didn't know that. We'll see what Hasbro does with their TF universe. As for HP, all FB movies and the inevitable HP and the Cursed Child adaptation will make over 1B WW.
  2. Yup, that 100.000 adm OW for Deadpool is all but confirmed. I think it can even reach 120.000-130.000. Might actually make it to Top 5 biggest OW's ever. This is absolutely insane!
  3. This should put any doubts of Suicide Squad opening under 150m to rest. That has much more hype than this.
  4. Oh yeah. Here it will have one of the biggest OWs ever and easily the biggest one for a CBM. WOM is through the roof.
  5. Call me crazy, but I'm starting to think Deadpool might actually debut with over 100.000 adm. The presales on Cinemacity, Cinema Colours, Line Cinema, Grand Cinema, Movieplex, Cinegrand and the other chains are insane. At the very least it will have the biggest OW for a superhero movie.
  6. That is an amazing OW for Dirty Grandpa and it came out of the blue. Considering the presales for Deadpool I wouldn't be surprised if it opens way above 60k adm. I think it will beat Grandpa for the biggest OW of the year so far.
  7. Actually, if you take it by the number of markets not really. People keep talking about that 390m numer from China for FF7, but fail to see that SW made almost 600m from just 5 markets (UK - 176M vs. 60m, Japan - 90m vs. 30m, Germany - 105m vs. 42m, France - 80m vs. 31m). Basically SW7 made 2-3x more in the developed markets and that more than evens out the field. FF7 won in a lot more countries, just not most of the major markets.
  8. Not yet. I may add it to my list together with Love the Coopers, Spy, Bridge of Spies, Beasts of no Nation, Transporter, Hitman: Agent 47, Pixels, Z for Zacariah, We are your friends and a few others. Gonna be busy in the next 3 days
  9. I watched more movies in the last couple of days than I did in the last few months of 2015 thanks to that best movies list. Just finished Kingsman. Whoever said it was the best spy movie of 2015 was right. Insane fun!
  10. Tyrese and Josh back would make this my most anticipated 2017 movie
  11. Not the soundtrack itself, but the way it was used in the movie. It's 80's music. It can do no wrong by itself
  12. Stunning, stunning film! Couldn't find a review thread for it. The performances were great, Fassbender was terrific and the soundtrack was god-ish!
  13. Ok, just saw Macbeth. Another Top 5 movie for the best movies I've seen in 2015. Damn Fassbender! I still have to see a bad movie from him. I so rooted for his character but alas, it wasn't to be.
  14. Ugh, I know it won't win. And I also know what will win, unfortunately. But I take solace in the fact that the only reason why that will happen is because this forum has a lot of fanboys, not because of the quality of the movies.
  15. After postponing seeing this movie for so long, I'm so glad I got to watch it before submitting my list for the best movies of 2015 because this easily takes the crown. The Martian was intriguing and funny and genuine and tense like few movies, especially Sci-Fi movies, succeed. I rarely connect with a character so much as I connected with Watney. It was visually stunning, beautifully shot and way too short. And the use of great songs was spot on, not like so many movies try and fail today (see GotG). Overall, superb film! A+
  16. This is officially the best movie I've seen in 2015, even though it is a 2013 title. Whoever wrote the dialogue for this is a genius. Scenic Route is tense and beautifully shot and it is guaranteed to give you some good mindfuck moments. Josh Duhamel is incredible and the ending just brings the movie in a league of it's own. A+
  17. Sounds good. I love this type of books/movies. TDC book is better than the movie. Same with Angels & Demons. Makes things much more believable and Dan Brown has a talent of describing things and places that makes it even better than seeing it in a film.
