  1. I wouldn't say he seems like a dickhead. He seems a bit lost and confused, not knowing how to deal with his fame. I have nothing against Mr. Stevens. James - agreed about TDKR being the best. And a rock has more charisma than The Rock.
  2. But, but, but! It shows the princesses to be independent and not needing the male characters... or... something...!
  3. Agreed. Only one good song in Frozen. The others are crap and, in my opinion, the vast majority of the movie is rubbish.
  4. I understand the difference between using old songs and making original songs, but you said you wished that "movies and songs were a huge part of a film", just as they were in GotG. You said, "a good song can really set off the mood", which is exactly what the songs did in GotG. I simply thought that was slightly ironic, when a film that you clearly like very much did just that, and happened to be the biggest film of the year.
  5. People's attitude towards TDKR stinks. They're always complaining about plotholes and it being inferior to TDK therefore it sucks, or whatever. They always say Nolan completely screwed it up. I'm talking like, comments on articles about Nolan/TDK/etc, and my experience of human beings in real life. And Thor 2.. well, okay. I guess some people like Thor 2, but it is at least acknowledged by most people that it's not very good.
  6. Shrek 2 is really great, I was worried you were going to say 3 or 4, in which case I'd have to slap you.
  7. Meh. It's overrated. I don't really see what people love about it, but to be fair, I've never lost my child in the Great Barrier Reef so maybe I just can't relate. On a more serious note, I did like Cars. It had some really rubbish scenes but it felt like it had a heart. Incredibles was okay, vastly overrated though (everyone seems to think it's like heaven in movie format). Didn't understand the love for Ratatouille, Up is ridiculously overrated (though it's nice and colourful!), Toy Story 3 is crap, haven't seen Wall-E or Brave. Get out of my swamp. (Unless you say Shrek 2.. in which case, I will let you live) I think the 2000s WDAS movies are on par with their earlier ones, don't know why they don't get the same credit.
  8. Fair enough. My top Disney/Pixar animation since 2000 would probably be Monsters Inc, which is one of about three that I even like. I like Dreamworks' animated movies but virtually none of Disney's. If Toy Story 2 had been released a few years later, that would easily be #1 Disney animation of this century, but alas, it's from the 90s. So many of Disney's and Pixar's movies are way overrated. I don't like most of them, and those that I do, it's only barely.
  9. I take it you mean WDAS and not all animated films released by Disney, right? (i.e. Pixar)
  10. Meh, I don't like either. If you say Frozen is better then sure, it's better. Can't be bothered to argue this one, it's been a while since I saw Tangled.
  11. Come on baumer! Get your shit together, love. I want to see this brainwashing movie list.
  12. I hated Frozen to its core. What on earth is that shot though? Her hand is... in his face?
