No but the point is, why is it appropriate / needed for a film like Fast & Furious to explicitly spoil the ending to people who are not expecting it? The film can reference Game of Thrones ending without telling the audience what the ending is.

You don't have to be a fan in order to not want the ending spoiled in a completely unrelated movie.

I went to a showing of South park last year where everyone shouted out all the lines and sang all the songs. Awesome.

Saw South park movie on lots of lists so hopefully it's in top 5. One of my favourite films ever. (Had my number #1)

who is to say this will be a musical? as for BO potential i don't really see it other than it being a Hanks vehicle. If no1curr about Elton John then certainly even more people don't care about Elvis. The description of the film is that it "will explore the life and music of Elvis through his complicated relationship with his manager Col. Tom Parker" I think this is told from the perspective of Elvis's manager. Tom Hanks is the main character. Also Elvis first started shagging Priscilla when she was 14? Wow. Didn't know that. Yeah no way that is in the film, well if it's told from elvis's manager perspective then they can just not include it. That being said, Baz Luhrmann did direct Romeo and Juliet, and juliet is 13.... so who knows!

CNN wants to make programs that people will actually watch? Who knew.

okay @lorddemaxus I've just watched the second trailer.. WOw. That did spoil the whole film. Rubbish trailer. I just watched the main trailer again and yes not one shot from third act - glad that was the one promoted the most.

I don't have OCD but that TENET not being horizontal really bothers me.

It didn't though? Literally every single shot in Hobbs & Shaw trailer is from first two acts. At least the trailer that was playing in cinemas I've been to.

I agree with posters that the real heart of the film was obscured from advertising. The whole third act is not in adverts/trailers. (Actually I've seen ads since then that include it - but I had seen lots of advertising prior to, and didn't know anything in third act. In fact when the middle section finished, I thought that was the end of the film. The third act is a real delight and has so much love and heart in it. It was a nice surprise having not been aware from trailers. But yes I can see that obfuscating it from trailers may have not helped. I liked it being sold as action comedy but maybe better to sell it as a standard F&F film.
