  1. RT score still at 100%, but I think obsessed Marvel fanboy critics like John Campea will trash Logan Lucky to help Wade W. Wilson and Nick Fury's movie The Hitman's Bodyguard. HA,HA,HA But seriously now, the real story here is the self distribution. If Soderbergh's distribution experiment works, we will start seeing a lot of self distribution. The way movies are being distributed will change. The kind of movies that the big Hollywood studios are making will change. Right now the big studios wouldn't dare to produce movies like Get Out, Baby Driver or Logan Lucky. GO and BD are both successful movies, hopefully LL will be too. I'm pulling for Soderbergh to pull this off to prove we don't need big Hollywood to make an entertaining and profitable movie.
  2. Finally the tv spots has arrive, I seen two of them last night. I'm looking forward to this too. I'm also looking forward to Atomic Blonde, Detroit, Logan Lucky and Kingsman
  3. Soderbergh's distribution strategy is targeting hillbillies, red-necks and NASCAR fans. Tracking usually misses these groups Any tracking we here about this movie has to be taking with a grain of salt. The first Magic Mike for instance was tracking a $19 million OW. The film was targeting female of all ages and gay man. Well it opened at $38 million, because tracking missed women over 35, which came out in huge numbers and gay men. Soderbergh is hoping lighting will strike twice.
  4. I can't see LL getting lost in the shuffle. All the big blockbuster movies are gone by mid-August. There is no shuffle at that time.
  5. Now we know why the embargo was lifted so early. Right now it has a 100% RT score. After reading some of the reviews, I doubt it will fall below 90% when it all said and done.
  6. I agree the embargo date may change. And I agree box office is another story. I think it will have good box numbers no matter if the reviews are good or bad.
  7. Umm? The critics embargo won't be lifted until release date 8/18/17
  8. 95 minutes does seem very short for this type of movie. I was expecting at less 120 minutes. But this don't look like a good movie anyway.
  9. The embargo drops this Monday 7/24/2017. Almost four weeks before release. This is probably because of Soderbergh's abnormal distribution strategy or they really have confidence in this movie.
  10. I wonder why Lionsgate is having two movies coming out a week apart.
  11. Tyler Perry is the smartest man in Hollywood. He knows he don't have satisfy everybody to make money. He doesn't care what the out of touch critics say about the Madea movies. He is taking it to the bank.
  12. Where's the tv spots? I checked ispot.com and still no tv spots existed for THB. Logan Lucky with a much smaller distribution company, has been running tv spots for the last week and a half. Is this unusual for a movie a month away from release not to have a tv spot? Could THB be moving its release date? Or maybe they don't feel the need to spend money right now?
  13. Me too,I can't wait to see this movie. I loved the first uncut version, I hope this one will be as good.
