    They did invest in Alien Covenant. Fox was so bullish about its prospects that if shifted it up from August without 3D! The result is for everyone to see. Split and Get Out both had more impressive opening weekends and ended up doing so much more on a tiny budget worldwide. This I had predicted so long ago but the thread was closed because well it was formed by so called experts as farfetched.

    As expected, The Mummy opened well in India because of the brand name and Tom Cruise, but wom is bad so it might crash and burn fast. If only this movie was any good. Sigh.

    The Mummy is an excellent summer popcorn movie. The Mummy Returns is a good popcorn movie that could have been better if not for the horrible CGI scorpion king and being a little overstuffed. TM3 was god awful though in every way possible. This one looked so bland it ain't funny. Actually I am 100% sure that Len Wiseman and Andy Muscheatti could have done so much more atleast visually and action wise.

    I want BAD to breakout but Edgar's movies don't do well at all in North America and everywhere except UK. It comes at night has a good shot. Rough night also has very good shot. Even if RN does well it won't be because of Scarlett that's for sure. Her box-office pull was proven with GITS.

    Highly underrated and underappreciated movie like Man From Uncle. Atleast that made some money...This completely bombed. Feel bad for Charlie Hunnam as he was really good in this movie. Guy will survive as he has alladin + Disney to get a big blockbuster at the box-office.

    to add to that it came from the same source that wrote that filthy click bait sensationalist article on female director and wonder woman. But there is no denying that the director lost his cool on few occasions and said some foul stuff on exec faces. That is a serious NO NO.

    I have watch 2 of his 3 movies...The Guest was a simple but awesome B movie heavily inspired from the first Terminator. Blair witch 2 was god awful and deservedly bombed. Not even the marketing hook worked LOL. Tbf...these movies are directed by Thomas Tull+his crew...so it should be solid.

    No american critic will say Valerian is better than SW. They all are SW fans and can't tolerate anything coming close to it. That would be sacrilegious.

    I will be happy with 30%. You know the North American critics are going to come really hard at this because they will compare it with Star wars, Star Trek and GOTG..all american sci-fi/space opera movies. The french critics don't really like Luc all that much, so that's that.

    wow....this looks crazy good. This and Baby Driver NEED to do well at the boxoffice. I have more faith in this doing well than BD because the track record of BD's director at the boxoffice has been bad.
