@franfar he couldn't get the rights to it, hardly quitting when he never started! Currently reading the above, will keep everyone updated on anything new I find.

Wait, can I get clarification. You think 'information' e.g. a VR world isn't 'physical'? That's patently false. Information contained on say BOT is merely electrons or photons in certain configurations, both of which are totally physical mechanisms. I think the problem here is that we seem to have people who have fallen into a big category mistake.

Hope you're making a note of all the doubters that have come out in the past few pages @IronJimbo

If it does get pushed back further I'm going to have to revise my estimate upwards to 5 billion WW.

Looks like Jim is aiming to find life on other planets at the same time as making the Avatar movies. I can deal with that.

They make what they deserve. A movie isn't merely an audio-visual experience an individual has; it is the sum of many parts: marketing, release date, innovation, etc. -
We should all remember that 'production' for A2 etc. doesn't mean what we normally think of when we say 'production'. Lots of the flora/fauna sets etc are made already. I'm hoping it means a much shorter 'main production' cycle.

I do agree, it is worrying the levels of concern that people put into some of the richest people on the planet complaining about inequality when there are real people with real problems that they totally ignore. The problem however is that the media shapes the narrative to distract them from anything that might actual hurt them.
