  1. Didn't the whole final chapter stuff just start last week first with Bay saying he was done then Wahlberg ?
  2. Paramount banking on their wrong Mark Wahlberg movie. It's going to be so sweet seeing Daddy's Home 2 grossing less than the first domestic and still beating The Last Knight.
  3. I don't know if her version would have got Wonder Woman esque praise (most likely not) but I'm sure it would've been a more positive reception overall. Either way it worked out for her in the end.
  4. Yeah but there's just something a little poetic about Wonder Woman passing BvS (although I felt the same when BvS couldn't past Deadpool).
  5. I know your personal opinion about CW but as a fan of these characters it's a top tier CBM to me. WW is still in my top 6 though. (Donner's Superman, CW, TDK, TWS, Logan, WW).
  6. Exactly every time I hear this is a superhero cliche I just think no it's just part of being an action/adventure movie.
  7. Pascal is saying Venom but given that Feige says no I wouldn't say it's confirmed. Seems like Pascal trying to piggyback off the MCU and Homecoming's likely success.
  8. Just got out of The Mummy and Rough Night both were ok and better than I was expecting but a certain subplot in Rough Night had me going WTF the entire time it was on screen. Plus I got some great trailer reactions. First with The Mummy they played DM3 which led to a couple of older ladies going awww with the minions. Right after was the Atomic Blonde trailer that had these same ladies going ohhhh at the Theron/Boutella kiss. Was a little jarring seeing both trailers side by side. Also got Baby Driver with Rough Night and once Ansel Elgort showed up on screen a group of teen girls freaked out. Maybe don't underestimate that audience for it.
  9. Wonder Woman is the best option for a Fathers Day movie. I seen it with mine and after it was over he said the movie was good and brought up the same thing he did after BvS. Man she truly is something isn't she. Perfect thing to bond over.
  10. When I think of Jordan Peele's winning Oscar for 2017 his role in Captain Underpants wasn't what I had in mind. May Waititi be with you
  11. The ending was the perfect send off to these characters. As someone who was a huge fan of all 3 (the first was the movie I watched nonstop as a kid on VHS) I still haven't seen the specials they've made that take place after.
