Given that Abrams best movie is only mediocre I seriously doubt that will happen. -
No I liked it, but I feel like the only one that hates TFA with an intense passion.

When do we get Saturday estimates? Cant be long. Got to hand it to Marvel, they've had a few misses, but not really anything bad. I just realised as well that Black Panthers DOM gross is more than Man of Steel and BvS combined adjusted. If you has said that 10 years ago you would have been laughed off the internet.

True, it depends if you think critics are entirely honest or not though. It seems to me that BP and WW got a boost because some critics just didnt have the balls to challenge the diversity police. Thor 3 was a comedy routine in movie form, and not always a funny one. It was too much to the point that it took me out of the MCU.

I think they are complaining that its lower than BP and Thor3. I mean its a FAR better movie than those so I see their point, but its not like its rotten or anything.

I dont think any anime would do that well. To have GA appeal they would need to serious water it down, which would upset fans. The reason I struggle with anime is that they all start off fine, and then just get progressively more stupid and contrived as they go on.

I love Cameron movies, especially over movies by an amateurish hack like Abrams, but I still think Avatars milk will be bone dry by A3.

I just wish they would stop all this thursday previews are Friday BS. Just in case no one realises, the top Thursday ever would be TFA just from its previews.

SW9 will increase from TLJ, but might not reach TFA levels. So far this SW trilogy has followed the pattern of the other 2 almost exactly, no reason to think the last movie wont.

Come on, beat the OW record. If I was American I would help as many times as possible. The more TFA records beaten the better in my view.

Philadelphia was pretty topical with a decent sized star in it, the Birdcage was a stereotype. Gay people dying or being camp/funny is very different than gay people just doing normal people stuff.

Sniper for sure, but not feeling TGS as a huge shock. Sure its legs are a shock, its total gross is only a minor surprise (given that its rubbish). I feel like Jumanji is a bigger surprise, it could so easily have been a complete turkey that struggled to 100M. It manages to over perform in terms of legs and total gross. -
Winter starts on Dec 1st according to the meteorological calender. It is strictly defined as December, January and February. Each season has 3 months.

Its a good movie, all this over praise and fake news 'records' arent even necessary. I feel like they diminish its actual achievements.

I didnt say it was easy, just that its saturation bombing. However if you look at it as a hit rate its a lower percentage of their movies in the top 20 (33%) than TDK trilogy (66%), Star wars (Disney) (100%), Hunger games (50%) and Twilight (40%).

In fairness thats less impressive when you consider its heavily fanboy driven and there have been about a million movies. All but one of the top 20 is a franchise movie.

Well its true because the 'Leather Special' was not funny, and was mostly ripped off jokes from others, just done badly. Yes, I did see it, without knowing anything much about her (Im not American).

Sometimes hate isnt because of racism, or sexism, or politics, its just because the person/movie/whatever is rubbish. I feel like in that case its that.

Looks awful, but will probably make 500M in China alone. In fact it will do that at least because it is awful.
