  1. Do you think the film can perform well at the BO ? It has a good release date, almost no competition, but no idea if this type of movie can work.
  2. 8/10 The last part is frustrating, but the movie is great! It's thrilling, good action, good actors and impressive filmmaking! + David (& Walter) -> Great stuff. Visual -> Sets are crazy good, CGI pretty good, Music Thematics (superb work) The ending - Last part a little messy
  3. The budget is only $ 111M. Should be profitable.
  4. Maybe I'm wrong.. But this isn't the same period. Now nostalgia is enough to bring a lot of people into the theater.
  5. Me too. The hype seems real, and with good reviews it should make big numbers. The surprise of the month, I'm sure!
  6. The poster is phenomenal. Prediction of BO.com OW $35M Total $90M This seems to me quite low ?? The views of the trailers on Youtube and Facebook are good!
  7. You are absolutely right! But it has always been like that !!! Why directors like Kubrick, Hitchcock, Scott, Tarantino, Scorsese (in its great period) and many others never won ??
  8. Please RIDLEY RIDLEY RIDLEY for this! I think he is the best on this list, Scott is a living legend, author of so many incredible movies like Alien, Blade Runner, Duellists, Thelma & Louise, Black Hawk Down, Gladiator, Kingdom Of Heaven, The Counselor, Legend ... Scott is fascinating, fantastic eye. The Martian isn't his best film, but it's still an excellent film, very well done, one of the best this year with Mad Max. It would be fun to reward him with a science fiction movie, it's the master of the genre, this is the right time for him!
  9. Horrible music and awful trailer. This is not Star Trek!
  10. OK it's going to be huge, I hope a teaser in December 2016! The return of the Alien, Ridley Scott in top form, Michael Fassbender, the planet of engineers. HUGE
  11. The Martian >Interstellar=Gravity (3 great movies) Fury Road (Masterpiece) > The Martian >>>>>> Inside Out (Average movie for me) I saw 70 movies in 2015, sad year. Many disappointments and bad things. I keep Sicario, The Gift, The Voice, Crimson Peak. Not yet seen Steve Jobs. Go Miller & Scott!
  12. A really good movie, Ridley Scott still good. I don't think that's better than The Counselor or Prometheus but I had a great time, it's funny and intense. Visually impressive. And bravo to the actors, they are all very good, Matt Damon is really appealing, natural, beautiful. Loved Jeff Daniels too.
  13. Great for both yeahh 'The Martian' can it increase with the IMAX release next week?
  14. Great numbers for The Martian! Maybe number one the next week with IMAX. Really good for Bridge Of Spies, Go steven!
  15. Kingdom Of Heaven Director's Cut is a masterpiece. Exodus pretty good. Can't wait for the Martian.
  16. Too many adult movie this week, disappointing scores for everyone. But it's still a good third weekend for The Martian.
  17. Goosebumps - 27.9M The Martian - 25.1M Bridge Of Spies - 18.6M Hotel Transylvania 2 - 14M Crimson Peak - 13.5M Pan - 6.6M The Intern - 5.2M Woodlawn - 4.5M Sicario - 4.0M Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials - 2.9M
  18. The Martian: 38.1M Hotel Transylvania 2: 23M Pan: 21.4M The Walk: 8.7M The Intern: 7M Sicario: 6.8M Maze Runner: 4.1M Black Mass: 3M Everest: 2.7M The Visit: 2.5M
  19. Yes. Great start. Pretty impressive for an original movie. Now $200m and it will be perfect.
