  1. Avengers: Infinity War' box office collection Day 4: Marvel's multi-starrer film crosses Rs 100 crore mark According to a recent report on BoxofficeIndia.com, the action film which had a great opening of Rs 31.33 crore, and followed by Rs 30.25 crore and Rs 32.75 crore on weekend simultaneously, has further raked in another Rs 20.50 crore(Is this the monday gross?), which has taken its total to a staggering Rs 114.83 crore
  2. Since 2012, marvel has been released in this window, I don't see how is the holiday is going to be an extra advantage for IW in comparison to other avengers or CW/IM3 in term of legs... WoM and 10 years sentiment is going to be the extra point to give IW the legs...
  3. According to BOT traditional ritual, the god will give a series of ppictures or clues, then the members will then give their thought about the number it could be based on the clues provided. The god then will give his reaction icon to the member who gave their guess. The correct winner will gain like from God while the wrong ones will get disbelief face.... In this case,a member's 25m got a like from Rth and the quote of 25m also got a like, meaning a double confirmation. Hence, 25m...
  4. Another way to confirm monday spillover is to see tuesday's number. If tuesday suffered a negligible increase or even drop, meaning opening crowd are pouring into monday market....
  5. Anyway, this would be the 1st non-Cameron movie to pass Titanic
  6. I must say, at this point, titanic is not longer safe......the End is near.... Even titanic miraculously survived in this IW's craze, how long Titanic can hold its ground given that the fact blockbuster is growing bigger and the existing market like China and India is growing bigger.....
  7. this is the 1st time since thursday preview, that Rth didn't give us quick update or comment, and if i recalled correctly, Thursday preview wasn't too record-breaking......
  8. Whenever the mod or admin posted something, I can't stop thinking the post is about there is someone got threadbanned again and they are giving announcement and warning..... Hard to remove that from my mind without reading through the content twice....
  9. If Star Wars are real in the MCU universe, instead of just a movie culture, then what will be that like ? Then the reference they been mentioning are actually from a documentary or News or even history class?
  10. to me, any market that are capable of delivering USD100m gross from single film needs extra care....and india, I started to notice the potential of the market since 3 idiots, but it is only in recent year, I was amazed after one-two punch from dangal and baahubali 2. And now, the growing craze has started spread to hollywood film in india too Too bad, titanic will never had that experience...
  11. Deadpool 2's Ryan seem try to "connect" deadpool with IW by making reference, or kind gesture to give max. exposure of deadpool to audience... Will that help in building up the hype?
  12. Luckily I put EC in my ignore user list to get rid of his shit, I mean, who cares his number? I pledged my loyalty to Rth and willing to wait longer for the number which sooner or later be on mojo anyway. If his number must be come with shit in package....I will rather wait...
  13. The Top 5 roster of offshore openers did not change order from Sunday, although there were some slight shifts. The UK came in at $41.4M, $800K off the estimate, while Korea was on par at $39.2M (the local estimate puts it at $43M+ through Monday). Mexico rose from its initially lofty heights to a greater $25.4M; Australia and Brazil also jumped a touch, to $23.2M and $19.1M, respectively.
  14. Will this means the indian market is now becoming more and more open to hollywood films? Indian box office always get me confused with their net and rental crore, in different local languages from various region....I really need some Indian market expert to explain all those difference.... I always feel we understate the greatness of indian market because the market is still adopting studio/distribution divide.(just like japan pre-2000) Like just how much baahubali 2 earned in india alone? 17b INR meaning USD250m+ but mojo stated USD110m only...
  15. We are already lucky that China didn't put hollywood at stake given the recent US-CH trade dispute. IW could being put in a very difficulty position i.e open during mid-week or release against a big hollywood blockbuster or even pushed to june or fully banned if the trade dispute get worse.
  16. What?? Why is all the increase with holdovers? Any holiday boost?
  17. Lol, India opened higher than france and germany and thailand opened higher than japan......
