  1. And after a year, general still can't tell which is the better film(so am I).....to me, moonlight is simpler a more suitable film to win...
  2. I am with you dude but sometime, enough is enough........
  3. I doubt breaking titanic's number would be that easy as many suggest. JW has strong summer weekdays+ Independence day holiday+ LD late push but still marginally failed, BP with lesser weekdays bump, with find it harder to match JW, mid-march spring holidays may change that still....
  4. MCU aren't deep, but their message are clear, they are not trying to be a deep film, they will rather make a satisfying yet ordinary simple film to get money secured , instead of trying to be deep yet collapsed like BvS. It is all about their approach in getting money, being money bait, get over it...
  5. Avatar did a super great job in visualize its idea, it is a visual-driven film, and that is what film is mainly about. A great story is the main component, but film is more layered by sound/visual art. My point, avatar may not serve good in story but avatar is not a book, if everyone is demanding a great/brilliant story solely, then what is the purpose of the existence of film? Why not just read the book/screenplay, which deliver the experience through word.... great Film is about how a great story being visualize through every single visual/audio frame.....
  6. part of the reason but We can't entirely ignore that the fact of blockbuster nowadays are getting more and more chessy, dumb and insincere....and totally monies bait
  7. I just realized three Billboard has come ahead of SOW in the weekend chart, suggest that audience like it more than sow despite lower theaer count and has already on digital plattform. Maybe it is three Billboard to.win at thr final prize of Oscar now
  8. Everytime when some movies come to challenge Cameron's territory ,the conversation of his films will start all over again....... I guess this is going to be last few decade more

  17. the success of hidden figure, get out and moonlight were all set up for the foundation for more black-centric film commercially !!
