  8. those sex accusation is getting out of hand.....and most of them are just rumor without concrete proof....
  9. 3B Tuesday gross was higher than its sunday gross, a good sign of great increase for MLK weekend if they really expand it decently
  10. 360m , the highest grossing film of all time in china from 1998-2009
  11. going by this rate, TLJ could end up lower than titanic original run gross in 1998......
  12. I doubt Tuesday increase will be that intense anymore if moviepass went viral, I mean, who need discount price if I have the privilege to watch free movie everydays?
  13. not sure if anyone brought this up but F8's dom number seem to be revised slightly upward. Domestic: $226,008,385 18.3% + Foreign: $1,009,996,733 81.7% = Worldwide: $1,236,005,118 The number used to be somewhere around $225.8....
  14. If golden globe hasn't been a good indicator for Oscar, I wouldn't care to watch, Oscar has so much fun in it, even when last year when people expecting the full force of antitrump in the ceremony, the show in the end was not as political charged
  15. Ironically, jumanji + TLJ could break 1b Dom, TLJ could be 1b zone if it wasn't for jumanji!!!
  16. indeed, only 88th oscar could be this "messed up" in recent year 84th was the year of that french movie swapped across.... 85th was clearly the year for argo despite director snub... 86th was gravity vs 12 years a slave 87th was birdman vs boyhood 89th was la la land all the way until very very end.....
  17. I, Tonya and big sick are really surging in late-run while early frontrunner dunkirk.....while earning dozens of mention and nomination, it's still remain as "notable mention" across the season..... i smell inception 2.0 at oscar is coming....
  18. make moonlight won be like killing two birds with one stone, cater the needs of colour people while LGBT group.....instead of rewarding 2 movies in 2 different year.... While moonlight is a very good movie to me, I don't like coming of age story, but moonlight managed to change my prejudice, it's visual poem while I certainly don't know poem can be visualized in this way, and a friend of mine said, "sex" scene in moonlight was the 1st same-sex kiss that didn't disgust him....
  19. Not sure if anyone cares for this.... 20.5% Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle 13.8% Star Wars: The Last Jedi 9.2% Insidious: The Last Key 9.1% Greatest Showman, The 7.4% Agnathavasi - Prince in Exile
