  1. Cineworld said they never came to an agreement so it will not be showing in Cineworld in the UK https://twitter.com/cineworld/status/1706685681039261959?t=8sMYSfvFgGxTKtxDKgRBwQ&s=19
  2. I wouldn't be surprised the way the estimates went yesterday
  3. If 4.6 sticks I think we are in for a bigger Wednesday than Monday, which is a good sign for it's legs. Of course it'll still be very close so it can go either way.
  4. So maybe TUE - $4.3M / $525.4M WED - $3.2M (-25%) / $528.6M THU - $3.16M (-2%) / $531.76M $30M+ weekend gets it past $560M and $38.5M+ 4-day will push it past $570M
  5. Yep, it has the exact same rating description as A Man Called Ove funnily enough!
  6. FRI - $8.2M (inc. $2M previews) SAT - $7.4M (-9.8% with previews, +19.4% without previews) SUN - $4.8-5.2M (-20 to 35%) Weekend - $20.4-20.8M They are definitely underestimating that Sunday if Saturday is that high. $4.4M SUN would be a 40.5% SUN drop, whereas I see more of a 30-35% drop happening
  7. Beverly Hills Cop's number is from the-numbers, so it could be off. Aladdin I assumed had one weekend of limited release but it does seem to have gone wide in its third weekend with no showings in weekend 2, I'll get that changed
  8. Deadline are saying $6.6M for the weekend for Top Gun: Maverick in its 11th weekend Biggest 11th Wide Weekends Titanic - $19,633,056 - 27/02/1998 Avatar - $13,655,274 - 26/02/2010 Beverly Hills Cop - $7,770,241 - 15/02/1985 Aladdin - $7,687,184 - 05/02/1993 E.T. the Extra Terrestrial - $7,620,888 - 20/08/1982 Home Alone - $7,195,573 - 25/01/1991 Mrs. Doubtfire - $6,916,809 - 04/02/1994 Frozen - $6,872,811 - 07/02/2014 Top Gun: Maverick - $6,600,000 - 05/08/2022 Specify wide weekends because I always find it weird sites like the-numbers and BOM compare the 11th wide weekend of Top Gun: Maverick against the 7th or 8th wide weekend of awards films sometimes even less if they have been in limited release for well over a month.
  9. I think it could possibly scrape £20M, but the one after that would be 11th November for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, then 16th December for Avatar: The Way of Water
  10. Yep, I still hold the belief that all films should open day and date everywhere lol but that's only cause we sometimes get shafted on release dates over here.
  11. Superpets is down 62.5% with previews, -50.9% without previews Nope -60.6% Thor 4 -47.8% Minions 2 -40.8% I guess Nope's drop is because of the loss of IMAX? It also lost like 800 cinemas this week I think.

  13. Next major release to get that high is probably going to be Black Adam on 21st October.
  14. Kind of similar to Get out which came out 17/03/17 here but 24/02/17 in the US. Another one that makes no sense to me is Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris which released on 15th July in the US, but comes out here on 30th September even though it seems like a very British film and despite being filmed in the UK, France and Hungary (France get it on 2nd November and Hungary on 6th October.

  16. Crazy that this would make it #1 Tom Cruise in the UK by end of day on its second SAT, just 11 days in release! I wonder how high it can go!
  17. Deadpool opened as you mention in the week giving it an advantage over The Batman, but taking away preview grosses for both movies The Batman takes 8th best superhero opening and Deadpool takes 18th.* Logan misses the top 20 with £6.95M without previews. *since July 2001.
