I'm gonna see the movie just because I like the actors but lord am I expecting a lot of stupidity in it.

The new Cloverfield movie coming out later this year has a similar premise too. Has a much more interesting group of actors in it (Daniel Bruhl, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, David Oyelowo, Elizabeth Debicki, among others) to boot.

  2. So I watched the Sixth Sense earlier (with all this talk of M Night recently, no choice ) and holy shit, I'm still trying to recover really.

I knew the twist but never got to watching the movie until today... and it's amazing! Now I understand why this movie just wouldn't drop at the BO, I mean the word of mouth with that ending must have been just out of this world. I saw it coming and even then, I was like jesus, this ending just packs a fucking wallop!

Great stuff. People in the seats back in 1999 must have thought: This is an instant classic. gg

  3. I think The Hunger Games: Catching Fire is a better Battle Royale movie than, well, Battle Royale

Mockingjay Part 1 and 2 are horrendous though. 1st one is average at best.

I just enjoy how Catching Fire subverts everything that made the first one average by turning the actual point of the story on its head, and adds this touch of cynicism as well that just makes it work. It's tense, much better directed than the 1st, flows really well, and has great characters with believable motivations, which is what the other 3 movies lack. It also tells a pretty interesting story, more interesting, at least to me, than Battle Royale's.

    SITCOM: Everybody Hates Ethan

Premise: The kids at BOTville are trying to hook up Ethan with the super cool fly girls around the block. He tries to slay the girls with his knowledge of Monster Trucks, Logan's weekend multiplier, and GO's legs, but he just doesn't know how to talk to them properly. Although miraculously, Gokira has been downing in puss juice by saying that Rogue One was NOT AN EVENT and talked relentlessly about Kong bombing. Even worse, the big bad grownups at the nursing home are trying to spoil they're fun with some orange BANG, Dum Dum lollipops, and complaining about the Weinsteins. They don't have much time, since filmlover wants them back at nine for the daily Octavia Spencer savior ritual, so they must act fast or else!

Terrible opening for Lego Batman in China!

The Lego films can be considered a success for what they are proposing to do. The Lego Movie was an undisputed hit only in the English-speaking countries, (US $257 million, UK $57 million and Australia $27 million...Total: $341 milhões). Excluding the English-speaking countries the film made only $125 million. I believe it to be unanimous that the jokes are directed to this language.

Despite its success in some countries, it may be time for Warner Bros. to review its strategy for Lego films.

    Mil...hoes? :jeb!:
