This movie... As much as I wanted it to be good - most parts of it didn't meet what I expected. I saw the trailers and thought: This could be pretty good. I saw the movie and was disappointed. First of all: the music. I went out of this and did not have any melody in my mind (though one melody at the end was great). It felt like it was a Marvel Soundtrack (excluding DS here). Zimmer made great themes - he should have made this one again... Most parts of the movie I didn't like the CGI. The Amazones of Themyscira - all looked so bad. It reminded me of The Hobbit (especially the third one). It would be good for these movies to have more real settings. I liked the scene in London because it felt real. I loved the "Everybody knows"-Intro. Maybe my favorite part of the movie, and maybe the most Snyder like moment. I liked all of the heroes (Superman>Wonder>Aquaman&Flash&Batman). With these charakters there is so much potential to make a great movie... That Superman-awakes-scene was pretty funny, but showes a major problem as did the fight at the end: Why do they have to make Team? Superman is able to stand any opponent on its own. What I would like the coming movies to make different: - real locations - more focusing on charakters (Clark just wants to make everything right, Batman has many problems , Aquaman? (I really can't say much about his personality, at first he doesn't seem to be much interested in people but that fades quickly... he's funny though), Flash (he's feared) and Wonder Woman (maybe remorse because she didn't do anything for the humans after WW1?) - no endless fights like Doomsday or Steppenwolf!!! WW>BvS>MOS>JL>SS (I rate the Extended Edition of BvS in this wich I liked pretty much) To me this movie was really disappointing while it was not awful. I'll give it a B... Please, the next DCEU-movies have to be better. I don't want only marvel movies to succed

Seems like Germany has pretty much the worst result for JL... 600-700k admissions, $7,5M to $8,5M - down 55-60% from BvS. But its obvious Germany prefers Marvel, Germany loves Comedy.

Wow, if those numbers and estimates hold it could be as low as $3,5M OW... I have hoped for more and hope that I'm wrong...

According to MarkG FJG III stands at about 2,6M admissions after yesterday (Mon 450k, Tue 425k). I don't think it will reach 3M but it will pass the OWeek of the second FJG today (2,72M). The weather may have affected it. After Sunday, with a bad drop, it still would be at 3,6M+ admissions. Thor III opened with 170k, seems like a pretty big OD for a CBM. Maybe it reaches 250k-300k today and about 600k+ up to Sunday? Jigsaw is up to 220k.

It's hard to say how high IT's TP will be, but probably around 9€. I would say $8,5M to $9M is the floor right now.

I don't think it will miss 500k. Early numbers seem to be great. If it won't be frontloaded it could reach 3xKingsman (or more considering Kingsman was frontloaded), I think... I wan't the Thursday numbers!

Annabelle has great WOM for a Horror movie (even if I calculated a wrong drop...)

With 3rd Trend Kingsman2 is now down to 210k... Ninjago 150k High Society 90k -28%/-41% The Circle 52,5k -31% Bully 52,5k -50% mother! 42,5k -39% Annabelle 40k -35%

DM3 is still down 35% compared to Minions, that decline should have been bigger (even if it's up 20% from DM2). It seems Minions could be the peak of this franchise here... But the list of big movies that did good/better than expected isn't long. I would say BatB (3,4M), GotG2 (2,5M), (maybe Baywatch (1,97M)), Boss Baby (1,97M), La La Land (1,76M) and maybe Split (1,22M). There is not much I have hopes in. It, Fack ju Göhte (local), SW VIII. 2M admissions could (under very good circumstances) get Thor3 (it has a very interesting opening date, Tuesday 31st October to have two days of holiday), Bad Moms 2 (the first one had 1,3M admissions but Baywatch didn't get to 2M so probably not), Justice League (well, if not than Germany really doesn't like DC), Happy Death Day, Paddington 2 (the first had 2,05M), Coco, Jumanji and two local comedies at the end of the year (Dieses bescheuerte Herz (That stupid heart) and Jung Brutal Gutaussehend (Young Brutally Good looking, but I do not know much about these)

That is awful... Hopefully the movies can pick up over the weekend. It has to break out, there is no way that there isn't any movie that really works this year (more than suspected)

As for It: I have heard that it has some funny parts (and funny is always good for Germans ). I will be the first time that I'll see a real horror movie in cinema (World War Z wasn't horror). I really think this could be big! I didn't find a list of the highest OW for Horror movies, but the biggest shoul be FSK16. It should be able to do more than WWZ (505k)... Cars3 will probably be the movie for people who are afraid of It I have the feeling that it could open higher than Ninjago...
