  1. Now think about it I've never seen Nostalgia, it was The Mirror that I had watched and didn't realise until too late that there wasn't a plot.
  2. It's the same with Avatar, it's the cinematic experience of the century (I'm sorry). James "Jim" Cameron films are made for the big screen. I watched T2 in cinema for the 1st time last year, the opening credits brought a tear to my eye.
  3. I could understand you saying Tarkovsky wasn't the best director if he only did it once, but making the best film of all time... not once, but twice though? Solaris and Stalker are simply two a greatest films ever made, what other director (except Jim of course) could pull something like that off. I mean nothing against you if you prefer Nolan or some television gone comic book movie director but I'll stick to directors with vision who progress cinema as an art-form rather than digress it.
  4. Solaris and The Sacrifice were incredible. I'm not too sure about Nostalgia though, I think I would have enjoyed it more if I didn't spend the first half trying to make sense of it.
  5. 1) Spirited Away 2) Terminator 2 3) Stalker 4) Titanic 5) LOTR:Fellowship 6) The Terminator 7) 2001: Space Odyssey 8) Kingdom of Heaven (directors cut) 9) Akira 10) Avatar 11) Oldboy (original) 12) Aliens 13) Yojimbo 14) Blade Runner 15) Seven Samurai 16) Vertigo 17) Memories of Murder 18) Laputa: Castle in the Sky 19) The Thing 20) One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest

  7. 1) Avatar 2-100) The rest real list inbound soon I'm currently working through this list from a to z, copied it into excel and deleting movies I haven't seen. http://www.imdb.com/search/title?count=1000&groups=top_1000&sort=alpha,asc&view=simple
  8. which days did they care about the Oscars? I mean I've never really thought about it, when were they most popular.
  9. Funny you should say that I watched it last week for the first time, it's such a great film and easily understand why it got all it's praise.
  10. Disney owns the movie but not using their brand, I believe. I just know what ever is getting released on the Untitled Disney Live Action V (2020), DEC 23rd is going to have a really hard time.
  11. Untitled Disney Live Action V (2020) Rest in peace in advance. I guess Batb opening the flood gates on live action remakes of Disney classics.
