What is that supposed to mean?
I love Avatar and don't like the MCU films, they're not for me. It's only natural I point out how much more Avatar made in the fanboy wars thread of the box office theory forums.
I don't know if you guys knows this but superhero movies are based on comic books. These comic book have been at wars for decades.
I wonder if any of these mega fans have ever thought to themselves... "hmm maybe I should read the comic"
Hard to say so I've got a broader range of 700-950m, people loved Avatar and they remember how they loved it.
I think China could easily outgross Domestic for Avatar 2.
Jim is the writer and Lightstorm is producing. Jim couldn't be any more involved without directing it himself, he said he spent 3 months of full days making the scripts with Tim. If it does well there will be another couple of films, crossing my fingers.
ALSO Arnold and Linda are back.
Avatar 2: Dec 2020
Avatar 3: Dec 2021
Avatar 4: Dec 2024
Avatar 5: Dec 2025
Quite a few sequels 1 year apart like Lotr, hobbit, harry potter make the same or more as the first film. I don't see why Avatar can't too.
Oh.. well that will be close I guess. The Avengers had the advantage of holidays which are over for BP now.
Just so you know I don't really care about Dom when it comes to Avatar and Titanic, after all Avatar is the highest grossing film of all time, not TFA.
