I would hope we will have an Avatar one in December 2017. After all it will be the release time of the sequel to the highest grossing film of all time.

People keep seeming to think that I'm not a new user, probably because people who liked Avatar are rare on the internet. (Not in real life though, 2.8b WW, #2selling blu-ray OAT)

Like Cameron Scholar said it will have 48fps only for action.

The Terminator opened in 1121 and Terminator 2: Judgment Day opened too 2,495 cinemas. From this we can deduce difference in constellation power and use it to effect the T2 with Avatar estimation giving a 45% drop from the 18b. Giving a predicted total of 8.1b. I would say this estimation is more valid than the Alien to Aliens one because Alien isn't a Jim film.
