Good for Dunkirk and Wondy is Wondy. Was it confirmed if WW will get an expansion on LD?

BvS earned 330M domestic and 870 something million WW , those numbers are also huge. What does that have to do with anything? My point is what is watchable or unwatchable is a personal taste. No amount of high grosses or high reviews would make a person whose taste is elsewhere like that movie. No amount of bad reviews or low grosses will convince someone that the movie he/she loves is unwatchable. That's all there is to it.

I hate the Snyder VS Whedon thing. I am literary tired of it. The problem is that JL is my most anticipated comic book movie of all time. I grew up with these characters but unfortunately I can't go any where to just follow this and have fun. Each site has a huge amount of morons that will derail the whole thing. This site was one of the best actually ,but the thread still got locked. And when I go to the media it's all negative after negative articles. I don't even want to go near what happens every time I go to twitter , in this case I'm not talking fans or haters , I'm talking supposedly professional people who "complain" about fanboys/haters while acting like one themselves. I guess I give up. There no where to go

What is watchable and what is unwatchable is up to each individual and his/her taste. I think the Force Awakens is unwatchable but many disagree with me. BvS is one of my favorite movies and I've watched it 8 times in the cinema and another three times on DVD. I think Suicide Squad is trash but it's still watchable because of some great casting. Many people think Smallville ( TV serious ) is unwatchable but I think it gave us the best version of Lex and the best version of Lois. I can go on forever. But I think you get my point.

Zack Snyder's movie cut is unwatchable .. blah blah blah some people fight over Joss and Snyder ,others go: Joss will make the movie better and the good will from Wonder Woman and all those feminists that supported will help JL. The media: Joss is a fake feminist , let's boycott people!

I agree , all problems that happened in the JL thread were not dew DC vs Marvel. The cause was Snyder vs Whedon. Just ban the discussion about the directors since it's based on hearsay anyway. All we know is that Snyder directed the movie Whedon did the re-shoots. Who changed what or how much is all hearsay that I don't care about.

Anabelle is doing better than I expected! The conjuring franchise is doing fine and that makes a horror fan like me smile I'm expecting a 37 OW but hoping for 40.

I've noticed these dramatic posters a lot in JL and BvS threads. The ones that act like the thread is murdering them slowly or making their lives hell. They keep repeating and posting how miserable the thread is making them without contributing to anything of value to the thread. Then they are finally so happy about the thread closing to the point of praying in thanks to the Gods that gave mercy. As if they were forced in any shape or form to actually be in that thread specially when they don't even contribute.

No, how exactly will that happen? If these two still talked about the same movie in threads that has nothing to do with it then they should be perma banned from the whole site. End of story. Agreed.

Personally, these things don't bother me in threads. I just skip it. ( being a manga/anime/comics follower I see way worse in their sites ) But I think the mods gets headaches because of the people reporting to them. Perma band the trouble makers from the thread would have been a better solution to us who wanted to talk about that movie.Well , whatever the mods see fit I guess.

It's hard to choose , I think a lot of these movies have a shot at breaking out. Black panther being an obvious one because of the political reasons and the character being well received in Civil War. Aquaman too because I have seen so many people going nuts over his character from JL trailers alone and he used to be the joke of comic books characters (unfairly of course ). Meg and ready player one too ...... it's so hard to choose but I'm going with Aquaman

Thank Marvel for making the Avengers so successful leading to WB finally get off their asses and make a Justice League and Wonder Woman movies? No MCU means no DCEU. Superman the movie ( the first big budget superhero movie in history ) is what started the whole big budget cinema adaptations for superheros. So you can thank DC for that , also superman was the first superhero comics in history so that's another thing to thank DC for because they started the superhero comics in the first place. WB has nothing to be ashamed off that's for sure. They have wanted to make a wonder woman movie since forever , they even have old scripts floating about in the internet ( thank god it was discarded ). They deserve all the credit for such a huge hit for the first big budged female lead superhero movie with a female director.

That's just ........ the screening does not send that message at all. On mother's day we get many mom's only events and that does not mean " keep the filthy father's away " at all. Mother's day events are celebration of efforts and love that a mother gave to her family. This screening is a celebration of women/daughters finally getting a super hero blockbuster with a female superhero. Little girls can say " I want t be like wonder woman " just like little boys say " I want to be batman ,superman , spiderman ....ect. It has no negative connotation what so ever like you're trying so hard to pretend it has.

Nice of you to accuse me of lying. You know nothing about me. I am not lying at all. I will not feel upset if men only screening happened for some movie if I can see it somewhere else. Just because you can't accept that idea yourself doesn't mean others can't. But if imagining I'm lying helps you sleep at night , then go a head.

I don't see anything wrong with women only screening for a female lead super hero movie that has been in the make for years and years. We get men only sport events in my country. We get some women only events too. All of these examples have other places having the same activity for both men and women. I mean there is women only gym and men only gym. It's not a big deal. And I do agree that even if there was a men only screening for 300 I wouldn't be upset.

I liked the movie. I was taken their by a friend and was surprised that I actually had a lot of fun.The people at my theater clapped and shouted through the whole movie. It was a great experience.

That's all cool for me , I loved many movies that RT shredded to pieces. I hated many movies that RT praised. I think some critics don't even deserve to be in that position in the first place when most of their rants are nothing more than condescending bashing worded using some fancy sentences. If I want to read bashing rants , I can go to any place on the internet with a comment section. Some of them start bashing a movie years before it's release. However, there are critics that bring up valid points that even when I disagree with their general score , I see where they're coming from. Or agree to some of the shortcomings they listed regarding the movie. For example, I loved Batman V Superman. And every time , people would throw the RT scores at my face as if that will change the way I see the movie. Sometimes , I would get personal bashing just for loving it Here in this very comment section , people who hadn't even seen the movie started calling it shit because of RT scores.But, even with all that I would still be overjoyed if a movie I liked in the future got a good RT score. It makes it easier to talk about without people jumping at you. RT scores and awards might be meaningless to you , but in general it's not meaningless at all. It's all people bring to the table when you want to discuss a movie. Just go back in this thread and see how many times people made screen shots of DC's RT scores and Marvel's RT scores as a means to say who's better.
