AMC Empire 25 is already listing the dolby prime shows for JL as sold out for thursday and friday( 7 in total). I wonder if that was bulk booking.
Hopefully we get an update from "Deep Wang" tomorrow. some comparison with BvS or Thor or Guardians would be interesting.
Sold out ?Already?

As fun as it is stupid. I enjoyed myself a lot and that's what I wanted from Geostorm. Having said that MAJOR points off for not having a fucking Geostorm.

I like that the film wasn’t actully a disaster movie.
When you look at it the movie is really a conspiracy plot.
my Score was 6/10 but after thinking about it I brought it up to a 7.5/10.

Wrong thread but DC partnering up with one of America's biggest companies? Think about it.
It’s not a partnership as AT&T owns WB now.

That's $48.5M for Valerian. Definitely not the $100M+ breakout I wanted but at the end of the day it helps.
I'm still waiting for the film not to hit 50mil as someone here claimed it wasn't.

These numbers are good but it would have done much better (+550M WW) if the movie was actually any good. Missed opportunity
It's a solid performance for a 125mil budget.

But that fear fueled tons of random fanboy narratives that alleged that "Nobody cares about Wonder Woman!" It was just the 'justification' that the WW (and DC) haters needed to continue underselling her potential and the DCEU's potential. I am just glad that the film's undeniably smashing success will at least temporarily silence the haters.
Me and you both know where this is going so let's leave it alone.
We knew ,The Naysayers didn't .

THE MUMMY FINALLY CROSSED $400M WW, thanks to Japan,
I hope it is enough to keep this universe alive!!
Total Lifetime GrossesDomestic: $79,937,595 19.9% + Foreign: $322,200,000 80.1%
= Worldwide: $402,137,595 I hope as well.
This is very good for the Univerese as it implies that the foreigners will support it.

Critics are supposed to be fair...not actively picking a side and rooting for a demise (or smash hit).
The critic reviews for this movie should be an example of what critics should never do...
I've been pressing this for years now.

If Wednesday falls about 30% from Tuesday we get $5.2M and using a 15% drop, we get $4.4M. If we use a light 40% increase, Homecoming scores a $6.16M Friday, then we use the typical 30% increase for Saturday, we get $8M, and with a normal 25% drop, we get $6M. So about $20.16M. If we used the exact same drops from last weekend, Homecoming gets $21M
The drop from Tuesday will be telling ,However so many wide releases may mute its Thursday gross.

Im a comic fan so yes I want all of them to be successful but there's no reason not to call a spade a spade when it comes down to SM:HC drops.
Excuse me in im not used to a MCu film having +60% second weekend drops not to mention that's a the worst second weekend drop of any Spidermam film.

Yeah. Homecoming is looking at 53%-55% drop.
44.2-55%=19.89mil.
There is also a possibility it does less giving the fact that it has dropped badly on some days.

This upcoming weekend last year was the last weekend we had 4 or 5 movies over $20m
Was any of them A superhero film that had a previous weekend drop of 62.2%?
im thinking it's gonna be hard for the film to reach the 20mil however I would be glad if it does.
