  1. I can’t add much to the conversation cause I’m not a huge Star Wars guy but I’m enjoying this season as much as I enjoyed season 1 which I enjoyed quite a bit. Looking forward to the last few episodes and whatever else they have planned in the future for Star Wars from Disney+.
  2. I have to admit it will be pretty disappointing if WB doesn’t have another plan for places that don’t have hbomax and theatres closed. Our theatres here could be closed for all of December and January, we have no timeframe for our lockdowns. I wouldn’t be at a theatre anyways but it’s really making me feel like my subscription to my hbo/crave is somehow less important cause I don’t live in the states and don’t technically have hbomax. Hopefully they’re smart enough to have other plans.
  3. It’s probably only being discussed because Netflix made the 200m offer so that’s probably why WB stepped in and the whole streamer thing is being discussed.
  4. Oh I know all of that, I just mean cause they’re(wb) involved with the movie I would assume they’ll just wanna put it on hbomax rather then allow them to sell it Netflix, and while it may not be ww84 it’s still a decent size blockbuster that can attract some fans. Obviously if Netflix offers some huge amount after that 200m then it could for sure end up on there.
  5. I highly doubt WB who just started up hbomax is gonna allow this to go to another streamer. And While I don’t agree with the decision to release ww84 on max either they’re obviously just looking at a way to bump up subs cause of the rocky launch on max.
  6. This will probably release the same way they’re doing ww84, where it can open theatrically it will and in the US it will open in whatever theatres are open and on hbomax.
  7. Netflix made a bid of more than $200 million but WarnerMedia is prepping an offer to send the Legendary sequel to HBO Max.
  8. Yup, sucks for sure. Not sure what WB strategy is here for markets outside the US, doesn’t really seem like they have one. Hopefully they announce something closer to the date.
  9. Opens in Canada the 25th but mostly all theatres will be closed lol
  10. Same here in Canada right now, hopefully they’ll have some announcements soon cause a lot of theatres are closed in a lot of places
  11. This movie was destined for a pretty big opening weekend just off of good will from the first movie so while anything’s possible I don’t think this has anything to do with the movies quality. I’m not saying it will be good or bad, I just think this was all about Hbomax.
  12. Ya I feel like this has Stankey/AT&T written all over it as well. It’s all about streaming to them, they don’t care about the theatrical side of WB business. I still don’t think this was the right call and I don’t believe it would of hurt the company significantly to hold out till June of next year. Patty and Gal deserved it imo with how much success the first Wonder Woman brought the studio. I really hope they were on board with this and Patty does come back for another Wonder Woman and more.
  13. Only way it releases on Disney+ is if something strange happens with vaccine distribution and This movie connects to a show they need to get out on Disney+. That’s the only way I see it happening.
  14. These numbers being thrown around are so depressing lol, I’m so disappointed. I really thought this had a shot a improving on the first movie and maybe even hitting a billion. I know this is just the way it is but I still wish they would of delayed it, I don’t think people would of been less interested if it released in June or whatever.
