  1. JL doesn't stand a chance at hitting 1b. The fact that it has STRONG competition surrounding it ALONE guarantees it wont hit 1b.
  2. 2016 Civil War / A+ Doctor Strange / A- Deadpool / B Apocalypse / C- BvS (any version) / D- SS / F 2017: Anticipated 1. Thor: Ragnarok 2. Spider-man: Homecoming 3. Guardians Vol. 2 4. Logan Top 4 are what I will watch in the theater 5. WW 6. Lego batman 7. JL 2017 Box-Office 1. Guardians Vol. 2 2. Spider-man: Homecoming 3. Thor: Ragnarok 4. JL 5. Logan 6. Lego batman 7. WW
  3. The safe bet is Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 or Spider-Man: Homecoming, don't sleep on Thor: Ragnarok tho.
  4. I don't see how any Marvel fan could be salty right now. ffs I'm super hyped for a fucking Thor movie.
  5. But it's not Avengers 2.5. It's the 3rd Captain America film. The entire structure of the film is completely different to any Avengers film.
  6. I don't see how ~1.2 Billion and a critically acclaimed film can be considered a disappointment. Especially with such a front loaded slate.
  7. It's funny to see Apocalypse get shit on by critics when the writing and action was just as terrible and cheap in DoFP, which they gave a pass to. Guess the honeymoon period for Singer's return to the franchise was short lived.
  8. DC is getting stomped in both tv and Comics. This is objective fact. Hell DC doesn't even have a lock on animation anymore, last I checked Big Hero 6 won an Oscar for best animated feature. Meanwhile the killing joke is looking pathetic. The only thing DC has is video games and even then it's 1 series of Batman games, only because Marvel isn't even trying. Marvel could strike a deal with Capcom tomorrow and they would own that entertainment corner too.
  9. It's a credit to the writing of Civil War that every one of those attempts falls flat.
  10. People seem to not understand the difference between influence and a 1:1 adaption. You would have to be willfully dense to not see the political thriller influence and tone in TWS. Obviously less in the 3rd act.
