  3. @cayommagazine Endless Entertainment has picked up rights from Lager Pictures to My Hero Academia. It is confirmed that the film will rated PG-13 as Peter Ramsey will direct the project. It is likely the project will be animated as it fits the tone the best. If so, it will be Endless Animation’s first PG-13 film. The film is also being fast tracked for Y8.
  4. February Broadway Selects: Burn This - $7.78M/$19.45M Love After Living - $17.35M/$39.04M Starlight - $53.38M/$176.22M Plastic-Man - $47.28M/$55.64M/$140.34M Carver - $11.43M/$14.75M/$32.33M Conventionally Wiser - $24.5M/$61.28M Scavvies 2 Directors Cut - $3.54M/$8.93M
  5. February UPDATE: Hypercomptency’s grade is being bumped up to a 7.5/10.0 upon further reflection. Burn This - 5.5/10 - It’s a solid play, didn’t do much for me. Love After Living - 2/10 - A morbid and graphic film where it’s fatal flaw in that it tries to use shock value but fails and disgusts. It sort of feels like a cousin to the Poison and Wine series. Carver - 5/10 - The story will nice to be told for younger audiences, fails to captivate or intrigue. Starlight - 7.25/10 - While the story, nor the majority of characters aside from the brothers and Leina, there’s still strong animation, eye popping action and visuals, and a step up from Horizon’s normal fare. Conventionally Wiser - 4.5/10 - While the action is ludicrous, this sequel sort of feels like a live action Looney Tunes cartoon but in a bad way. It’s still dumb fun but not Beyblade levels.
  6. January Vixen - $7.53M/$27.7M Hypercomptency - $45.6M/$60.1M/$147.2M Father Knows Worst - $11.3M/$15.2M/$37.6M Finders Keepers - $13.4M/$34.8M Outside The Law - $18.7M/$50.5M
  7. January Vixen and the Flaming Feather - 6/10 - Nothing extraordinary but is a fun family flick with some nice visuals Hypercomptency - 7/10 - Visually dazzling filled with impressive action, and appealing characters, Hypercomptency is a massive cut above the average January fare. My problem, for me there’s a lot of exposition and I was a bit confused for the rules of the film, which took me out of it. Finders Keepers - 6/10 - It was entertaining watching assholes trying to kill one another, in a sort of Final Destination manner. Pretty basic otherwise though. Outside The Law - 5/10 - An interesting idea but has a very muddled focus. Didn’t do much for me to be honest.
  8. Father II - The Resurrection Loving A Shadow Tower of Babylon Tony Hawk: Pro Skater The Ends of The Universe
  9. @cookie Move Dazzling back to 3/10. I change my mind.
  10. Loving a Shadow Studio: Infinite Studios Release Date: 8/18/Y7 Genre: Family/Comedy Director: Lasse Haelstrom Composer: Tyler Bates Rating: PG for mild rude humor Budget: $15M Theater Count: 3.201 Format: 2D Runtime: 105 minutes Cast: Unknowns The Thompsons are a pretty normal family composed of Type A patriarch Tom, home maker mother Trisha who aspires to do more, bratty teen Trina and curious and unfocused son Todd find their life flipped around when Todd bring home a stray Bombay kitten who they name Shadow. Shadow soon causes a bunch of trouble; running up and down the house, shredding business papers, bathroom mishaps, fighting (which lead to Shadow chasing and attacking the mailman) and stealing food but provides love for the family as Tom learns to make more time for his family while closing a big deal thanks to Shadow’s mishaps, Trisha takes some R and R, as she rediscovers her writing passion and writes about Shadow, Trina becomes more kindhearted and scores a date with the guy she likes as Todd becomes more studious. The film ends about a year later with the family having dinner, being thankful for one another and Shadow as Shadow attempts to and successfully steals a ham, much to the annoyance yet charm of the family.
  11. Dude there’s not some kind of secret conspiracy that DC movies are being attacked. The opening of November is a lucrative spot and these types of date exchanges happen all the time.
  12. Considering how stacked it is for CBMs for 2022, and the likely ramifications with Corona we might not see another $1B film until 2022 which Thor 4 seems to be a likely contender. I’d say even a slight increase is great. Not all MCU movies have to do Avengers numbers every time, as asking for that only leads to disappointments. That said I expect $1B plus and $400M DOM for Thor 4. I think the floor for OW is likely around $140M
