  1. Updated, also I wonder what animated film will eventually break the record. My guess is probably Scrooge #5. SYI?, Scrooge 4/5 and Amulet III as well as Mario should enter the list.
  2. Solo seems to be at the low end. MU seems to be the high end. Besides it’ll make a killing OS. Some of you (but definitely not the same as others) had hoped to high. Between this, TS4 and Endgame, Disney was always going to this one the short end of the stick. They should’ve waited until 2020 or honestly September imho.
  3. To be fair 2016 was completely different for presales than 2019, not to mention the first had more buzz. Personally thinking around $65M-$80M OW for it.
  4. First he disses the legacy of Lord Shrek, and now is licking up Illumination’s garbage. How the mighty have fallen.
  5. Considering that DM3 dropped pretty heftily from DM2, and in a way the parents forced to attend to these probably consider it a DM4. Besides I feel like at this point besides kids they’ve weared out their welcome amongst the adult crowd. Personally thinking $180m-$220m DOM for it but I wouldn’t be a surprised at a LM2/IA5 style drop.
  6. I can easily see a LM2 style drop from DM3 to Minions 2.
  7. Damn. Though that gives me much more confidence in my sub $200M Minions 2 gross is SLOP2 falls that much. With this and Lego 2, apart from Frozen II and TS4, animated movie sequels have been doing rough this year. I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if AB2 did $50M/$200M DOM/WW.
  8. As 'Secret Life Of Pets 2' Aims For $65 Million According to Scott Mendelssohn, Pets 2 isn’t tracking at a $65M OW ouch.
  9. I don’t know how family friendly Shiverin Gulch is but you could aim for September or October. As I’ll eventually move Tintin once more dates are available.
  10. You could move Duck Hunt to May as there’s no family films there now.
  11. You’ll get more around mid June.
  12. @cayommagazine Bailee Madison (Once Upon a Time) has joined the cast of More Miraculous as Lila Rossi. Lila in the show is known to be a master manipulator even more so than Chloe who is portrayed by Dove Cameron, and has a deep hatred towards the superhero Ladybug. As well as the numerous teen girls in Paris who are romantically interested in Adrian.
  13. @Blankments is it cool if we have the same IMAX split that you and Cookie had going?
  14. @cayommagazine Endless shakes up slate. - Out of concern of Project Lunar, Endless Animation’s Super Mario Bros has moved to April 1st, Y6. The spring corridor has always been a favorite for the studio and competition is lighter. - Ava DuVernay’s traditional animated musical The Music In Me has locates to the Thanksgiving weekend in order to benefit like past animated musicals in that corridor. - Stevie Wonder biopic My Life will release into theaters May 13th, Y6, coinciding with the legendary singer’s birthday and the untitled Lord/Miller R rated comedy subtitled Generations has moved to December 14th, Y6. Generations stars Awkwafina, Sasha Lane, Shamiek Moore, Channing Tatum, Jonah Hill, Seth Rogen, Brie Larson and Ice Cube.
  15. @Spaghetti Move Super Mario Bros to April 1st and give it IMAX Move The Music In Me to Thanksgiving weekend. Move My Life to May 13th. Move Untitled Lord/Miller R Rated Comedy to December 14th.
  16. Guessing TSWP3 Y6, and Voltron 3 or DragonBorns Y7?
  17. On Friday, I’m starting the writing process of Super Mario Bros. Like Can You Imagine?, and sort of The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl, it’s a very important passion project as both sides of my family were immigrants, in fact I’m a first generation citizen.
  18. I get that but even compared to other live action musicals have more energy than this. Besides you pointed out the main problem for this one as the original was so over the top, it’s destined to disappoint.
