  1. @cayommagazine Someday over the weekend Endless Entertainment will do a minor conference call that will showcase future franchises in work as well as the status of somethings inside the studio. Two Other announcements have been made: Kung Fu Space Punch will be pushed back to Y7-8 as the studio wants more time to work on the concept. Endless Animation will either have Don’t Let The Pigeon Drive 2 or Toons for Y6. Awkwafina and Shamiek Moore have joined the untitled Lord/Miller comedy as more details are expected in the summer.
  2. Change of plans @Spaghetti put back Pigeon 2 for July 29th and KFSP will be Y7.
  3. UPDATE Turns out there was a mix up. Antonio Banderas’ character was a separate character in the film and not of the main four. It turns out Harrison Ford will play the male lead described known as Johnny Holiday mainly to fit a bit more in line with Gutierrez’s original pitch to showcase the bond of a Mexican Girl and American Man. While in Gutierrez’s original pitch Holiday and Susanna were childhood rivals and likely would have winded up together but Gutierrez decides that although the relationship is the core, it’s a father/daughter role, in that both characters will learn and grow from each other.
  4. Also place High School Musical: East vs West (Musical/Family/Romance) (dir. Kenny Ortega) on October 14th
  5. @Spaghetti The Music In Me is now traditionally animated. Also date Kung Fu Space Punch (CG Animation/Sci-fi/Comedy/Adventure) (dir. Jorge Gutierrez) on July 29th and drop Pigeon 2 for now.
  6. No to the last one. God no. Maybe. Love it as the character would be pitch perfect for him but he’s already been an animated minor villain
  7. Rated G mothafukas! https://www.boxofficemojo.com/movies/?id=pixar2017.htm
  8. Anyone know a good comedian who is also a musician?
  9. @cayommagazine Endless Animation greenlights another cancelled animated film potential for Y6 as it and Pigeon 2 compete against each other: From the mind of Jorge R. Gutierrez (Book of Life, El Tigre): Yep. Kung Fu Space Punch might be coming to a theater near you. Described as a mix of sci-fi space opera, spaghetti westerns, superhero movies and anime, stars Susanna (voiced by Cierra Ramirez), following her family’s legacy of the greatest intergalactic heroes is the youngest member of the Galactic Gang of Do-Gooders as well as first woman on the force, finds herself in an attempt to earn respect on the force finds herself on an intergalactic quest alongside the some of the most wanted galactic criminals: former captain of a gang of pirates as well as cocky and narcissistic Miguel de La Macho (Antonio Banderas), a defective yet dangerous and also highly humorous robot (Micheal Pena), and a snarky armadillo/frog humanoid hybrid with spiky anime hair who happens to be a samurai (Natilia Dyer) as they must stop a powerful queen (Kathryn Hahn) from getting a intergalactic creature that will make her the strongest fighter on the planet which would mean... world domination. The film will be computer animated but animated somewhat like Book of Life but whereas the characters there had more puppet like designs, the characters will be designed like action figures. Rumor has it that Endless has an idea to tie it, Book of Life and El Tigre together somehow.
  10. So should we spring for June 3rd (first Monday of June) to August 5th?
  11. I’m good with June 1st, gives me time after finals to finish a project or two.
  12. I think the three will all do okay (both Pikachu and Aladdin should benefit from lack of family fare) just not as big as Endgame. In fact, in hindsight Endgame has no direct competition in terms of action tentpoles until Godzilla, which should help legs.
  13. I wonder if the MCU from Phase 4 onwards be as big as Phase 3 was/is. I don’t think any further films even Avatar 2, Avengers vs X-Men, a Pokémon Red/Blue adaptation will top this one box office wise.
  14. Aside from the monster that is Endgame, this summer has a lot of potential hits and moneymakers: Pikachu and Aladdin imho seem good for $200M-$250M DOM, Godzilla 2 I can see having killer legs, Pets 2 and TS4 will do in the $300M-$400M DOM range, Far From Home has a good chance for $400M DOM as well as The Lion King should have a killer run with Hobbs and Shaw big globally.
  15. One of my friends works Friday night until 11:00 pm. He’s seeing Endgame at 12:30 AM after work. I haven’t seen a movie event this big growing up to be honest since Deathly Hallows tbh.
  16. Man I don’t know what but there’s been so much men of culture these past few days.
  17. Dude, I say this as someone who wants PikaPika to do big you need to freshen up on your box office/tracking knowledge. These few days have been bad and Endgame is obviously going to affect Pikachu and judging from presales from Endgame, I think it’s obvious it won’t be as frontloaded as CW or DH2. It could jump from IT and it can fall. Also why slam Uglydolls, I agree it’ll be lucky for $50M DOM but it’s such low hanging fruit at this point and uncalled for.
  18. WW top 10 guesses: 1.) TSW2: $1.25B-$1.35B 2.) 2LBH: $1B-$1.05B 3.) Green Lantern: $950M-$1B (dat China boost) 4.) One Punch Man: $875M-$925M 5.) American Dragon 3: $850M-$900M 6.) Pillars 2: $800M-$850M WW 7.) TUSG: $750M-$800M WW 8.) Medusa: $700M-$750M WW 9.) The Last Six: $600M-$700M WW 10.) Call Of Duty 2: $600M-$675M WW
  19. The latter. I know I’m leaving sometime late July, I’ll still have Internet access and stuff but I don’t know what date I’m leaving. August 1st as the end date would be the best date for me if possible.
  20. Love it but may be traveling to Barbados on that date.
  21. I like it but I imagine the 4th Of July may be busy for some.
  22. @Alpha @Blankments @cookie @Ethan Hunt @4815162342 @Reddroast @Rorschach @Spaghetti @Xillix @Slambros @Hiccup23 When do you guys want to open Year 6, Part I?
