  1. Voltron 3 and OPM while should have families will skew way more older and have less overlap the than other aforementioned three.
  2. True, Star Fox and Dragon Ball both PG-13 action packed films that also have family appeal as well as young adult appeal and The Valkyries vs The Galaxy despite being PG-13 may also steal some of the female demo. The main benefit is the PG films around it are weak. Insectoids and Kappa Mikey will do around $80M-$100M and Gadget which open three weeks prior is probably ending around $150M
  3. Not bad actually forgot it but I’m thinking around what Amulet II ($260M) did Y4, has a solid chance for $300M/KOTS Numbers but the family market this summer is looking competitive, I also expect the OW to be older skewing but will benefit from good legs as the only real family competition for the summer is Insectoids (and I’m guessing not higher than SWAT Kats 2 for it) as Star Fox is PG-13. However between it and CTE, I think it’ll be the biggest live action adaptation of a Disney film of the year.
  4. My Hero Academia (cause superheroes) or Attack on Titan will likely be the films imo to break that barrier.
  5. Alita seems like a RP1 like situation, I think it’ll relatively (to our expectations at least) breakout Domestic due to the weak market and gross $100M where it makes a decent amount of coin overseas thanks to China, and ends around $450M-$550M WW. It won’t be a megabomb but it won’t be the mega hit the Cameron fans want. That said I can easily see this bombing.
  6. Also since I be really bored my way too early box office guesses (top 11, plus biggest of month) 1.) Voltron 3: $200M/$600M 2.) Scavenger Wars II: $150M/$500M 3.) 8. @daronnefcy @cayommagazine Merry December 26th everyone. Squirrel Girl has finally wrapped up production and is finished.
  9. At 11,401 words, Squirrel Girl is done thus making my first film done for the year as well as the first of my finished big four. Enjoy your late Christmas gift @Spagspiria
  10. 1.) Lion King: $260M/$850M 2.) Endgame: $285M/$660M 3.) Episode IX: $190M/$600M 4.) Frozen 2: $140M/$460M 5.) Detective Pikachu: $125M/$380M 6.) Joker: $110M/$350M 7.) 11. Okay, Squirrel Girl is almost done and just missing some of the second act and at about 10,400 words. @Spagspiria if you’re lucky you may get it tonight.
  12. About 8,228 words into Squirrel Girl now, this will likely eclipse the record Amulet II has for longest animated film in terms of word count (mainly cause of the action sequences).
  13. Squirrel Girl and Artifacts will be finished by January 2nd Gigantic, Green Lantern Corps and a few smaller films like Gadget will be done by January 22nd Dragon Ball and Smells Like School Spirit will be some by February 18th Lost Earth will continue to be worked on throughout the months and be ready by the 3rd.
  14. Do it, you might as well as the schedule only going to get more packed.
  15. If Squirrels Girl wasn’t in December, I’d move Gigantic.
  16. I understand Rita but you could move it to February 26th. Still would be better than opening it in March where not only is the family field stacked but it not getting IMAX it’s key value. It seems like a bad move especially as a pseudo sequel to a not fondly remembered Disney film.
