  1. @cayommagazine Isabella Moner (Transformers: The Last Knight, Dora The Explorer) joins the cast of Trollhunters in an undisclosed main role.
  2. 3Below gave me a wee bit of an idea on how to make the immigration message in Mario flow through well.
  3. @cayommagazine Endless Entertainment and visionary director Guillermo Del Toro team up to bring Netflix’s Tales of Arcadia to the big screen.
  4. BREAKING NEWS Inspired by the success of the Voltron saga, Endless Entertainment and visionary director, Guillermo Del Toro are working together to bring the critically acclaimed still growing Tales of Arcadia franchise to the big screen. The franchise is about the in and outs of the town of Arcadia which unbeknownst to most is plagued with monsters, aliens and wizards. The first film will be an adaptation of Trollhunters, which will be part of a 4 film series as the first film will be based on the first half of the first season. Guillermo del Toro will write and produce the project as the studio actively looks for a director. Kelsey Grammar, Clancy Brown and Fred Tatasciore will return in their roles from the series as they’re voice roles. More details will arrive Christmas along with the coup de grad of Endless’ announcements.
  5. Tales of Acardia (including but not limited to Trollhunters, 3Below and Wizards)
  6. A sneak peek at The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl, climbing into theaters December 22nd, Y5
  7. This is why I don’t get how you can be a Disney fanboy. I don’t mean liking their films but approve of shit like this.
  8. In hindsight I should’ve stuck to my instincts on Poppins, but I got swept up in the hype around me and went on the $400M hype train. This was always going to have problems appealing to the 13-21 crowd and some kids even with grandparents in full force. Nowadays for family films, online hype is very important although not the end all be all, because it shows whether or not the adults are somewhat interested. This holiday was chocked with other options for kids like Grinch and Ralph 2 in November and December had Spider-Verse, Bumblebee and Aquaman. That said it’s still to close to call, Jumanji had insane legs and had a Cinemascore Of A- like MPR.
  9. Ah, glorious meltdowns, online friendships falling apart, and likely more on the way. Shaping up to be a glorious Christmas.
  10. Yeah, in hindsight I never thought about that until now, kept Jack as the name cause of the story, originally Disney had kept the name even with the film taking place in Spain. Probably will change the name.
  11. Here is an exclusive look at Endless Animation’s Gigantic which arrives in theaters, February 26th, Y5
  12. Thank you for sparring Squirrel Girl @Blankments
  13. Probably not, all of them were doomed from the start as they look uninteresting to the GA, Aladdin has the advantage of being a bit more interesting but Disney has put this in the middle of Avengers and TS4 marketing wise and I believe they’ll be more focused on the latter and they’ll have put a lot into the former. But that shouldn’t extremely hurt it. The family slate of 2019 is what’s going to really hurt as the schedule is so damn crowded. I mean May has three family flicks in 4 weeks. Pets 2 and TS4, two sequels to loved animated movies open in between spitting distance.
  14. I think this will underperform domestically but blow up worldwide. Think Pirates 5. Aladdin is still loved OS and I do believe the area will be less crowded for it to breathe the domestic. Something like say $250M domestic/$650M OS.
  15. I wasn’t aware of the Kevin Hart scandal until now and doing so more research I’m appalled on how he acted. Olive the Other Reindeer sounds damn adorable and I’m intrigued to say the least.
  16. Drop Child Support. Move Gil’s All Fright Dinnet to it’s spot.
  17. Oops, I had a typo from an earlier document, she’s in it though but not Palutena.
  18. Patty Jenkins steps on stage to announce her project. She says it’s an epic fantasy hoping to kickstart a franchise for Endless Entertainment but she says details will sadly be a bit on the light side tonight. Jenkins notes the project will follow a more thorough plot of the original where Pit takes on the Guardian Of Darkness, Medusa. Jenkins then said the tone will have its moments of levity but will likely be more dark for Endless. Jenkins does note she can announce the two of main stars. Tom Holland (Spider-Man: Homecoming, Fortnight) will star as Pit, the chipper and fearless angel servant to Palutena Teissa Farmiga (Voltron franchise, Kingdom of The Sun) will star in an undisclosed major role. Kid Icarus will storm theaters Late Y6, both September and December being favorites for the studio.
